Don't forget to add some ponies for the bronies!
While you're at it, let's make some furry costumes also.

I am in love with this idea! Not so much the "vampire" thing (are there even vampires in Eorzea? I know there are voidsent and succubi, but I've yet to see an actual vampire) nor the idea of relegating Dancer to an RP class (I'm holding out hopes for a melee support job), but everything else seems really cool!
Bingo. As far as I know there really arent. That's why I want them to be in.

All there is to know about the current state of affairs.
Wow! You really put a lot of effort into this!Very cool ideas that would add a lot of character to the game!
...
you know what I mean. XD
(btw you can bypass the character limit on posts by going back and editing the original. That way you don't have to use subsequent comments. ^^ )
Exactly it is a forum for a video game. Where ideas for said video game can be shared with the mods and team members, which they then can relay our ideas to the developers, WHICH, they have done quite a few idea threads, and even some ideas have gotten implemented, maybe not all, and maybe not originally the way the OP's always have it specifically mapped out either.
This place is for us to give ideas, talk about the game, and share experiences and ideals we have and feel about this game we all play together. Technically you're post was an attack on the OP, which personal attacks are against the ToS of this forum.
OT: I'm not sure I completely agree with you on the whole DNC thing OP. I'm still very much gunning for DNC to become an actual DoW/M job in the future. I really feel it wouldn't be anything "DNC" related no matter how much thought was put into it, if DNC itself isn't an actual battle job.

The game is whatever the Developpers want it to be, so if you don't like it, you're the one who doesn't belong here, seems like instead of calling others "glamtards", you should look in the mirror and see the "wowtard" stamped on your forehead, because if you don't think a certain group of players deserves the same attention and content as others, you definetly do NOT belong in FFXIV, which is home to the most balanced model that satisfies every kind of player I've seen yet, if you're unhappy about it, take your negativity and idiocy somewhere else please.

Everything is bearable with music
I'll give OP credit where it's due.. nice work with the custom icons and graphics. But nevertheless, I don't want this to turn into a dress up game.. if I wanted to play Hello Kitty Island Adventure, I would've bought Hello Kitty Island Adventure.. Not FF14.

I don't like this for one reason: If they had "DoA" classes, they won't add those classes as combat classes.
Dancer, for instance, is a traditional Final Fantasy job going back to at LEAST FFT, and having a presence in FFXI.
If they add "DoA" classes and add dancer as one of those, it means those that were fans of dancers in the older games get the shaft, especially since Dancers as a combat class make a LOT more sense in a magic-oriented world (combat is basically a dance, after all. Dance battlers are common for a reason)
Also to play devil's advocate: How will this help the combat or crafting sections of the game? You mention a plus/minus buff system, but situational buffs have been strongly nixed in this game for a while. You'll note they went out of their way to get rid of those when they made the shift from XI->XIV->XIV:ARR. Hell only time of day is actually tracked in this game to make things more streamlined.
Every single class "archetype" in the game (DoM/W, DoL, and DoH) produces something beneficial for the rest of the classes: DoW/H and DoL find materials, and DoH makes equipment using those materials. How would a fourth archetype fit in?
In short, why go through the trouble to add a new category when you can just add the glamours and emotes, and simply have the buffs as a separate system? The idea SEEMS nice, but the ideas are better as piecemeal things added to the existing game than creating a whole new set.
After all, what if I want to be a vampire with a pirate hat?
What'd be really cool is if they made a Princess Maker MMO.. The game had everything.. and it would be perfectly geared towards some of the people in this thread, I'd probably dabble in it too just to see what it's like.
No, I'm not being sarcastic, I've played PM 1-4 and thought every installment was a solid game, translate that to an MMO and you've got yourself a million seller![]()
