While I can't say for sure, I think this idea was definitively put down. While carbys are cute, they just don't have the know-how to grasp finer Nymian strategies. Heck, even I have to refer to my book every 1.93 seconds or so.

You can do what I do and go ACN is easy content like CT,ST,WoD. People didn't seem to mind and many were kinda happy with seeing carbuncle in combat again.

I since carby is on the ground it's harder to spot it with some much going on

Personally I have given up. I just rerolled and stop my Job quests just short of getting Garuda-Egi. Occasionally I get "questioned" as to where is Garuda-Egi ... I have yet to formulate a good comeback.

Getting SE to change anything is like trying to get blood from stone. I have decided to just accept my fate. Sho ga nai.

People I group with? Well, guess you got to suck it up with my pet having -10 potency and no Enkindle - the worse Lv50 ability IMHO; long CD = very niche use.

.............You.... you're awesome... I'd seriously reroll my character too... but, would have lose too many things... Basically the desynth 100s and crafting-gathering stuff + relics is what I fear to lose... Damn, I would have loved now an option to 'remove' your advance in job quests so you can repeat them again, learn them again, and... STOP BEFORE GARUDA!



... If in the expansion there goes a new server, like Zodiark, Jenova and that. Perhaps I'll start from scratch again, uhm

If I remember correctly a dev said that this idea had been definitively shot down. Personally, I would really love to see Carbuncle be brought back...seems kinda silly to not use it. Especially since it seems like there won't be any new classes or use for current ones.
