Thread: with playspan discontinued will hurt the game

Ok so I went to add crysta after seeing someone post on the forums that ultimate pay was no longer able to be used I went to my account and this is what I saw,




as you can see I have 1 crysta and my only way of paying is paypal, I'd love to see paypal as a option, now before anyone says "Get a prepaid credit card" it's too much of a hassle to get the billing address set up, I live in a rural area and the pre-paid time card isn't an option since it doesn't cover extra retainers or other additional services ,this doesn't just effect 14 it effects 11 as well, if you allow paypal on your site store why not allow it on mogstation/SE account management page? there are a lot of people with this issue as well, I'm seeing a lot of people having error 401, 406 ect. due to credit card issues in the tech. forums This is just one place why not add an option for paypal? my Wife and I would love to support this game, but we can't since we can't pay for our subs through paypal, that way we can pay for our subs and additional services such as fantasia and retainers ect.

In light of this news, we have also decided to remove all PlaySpan payment options from the Mog Station and Square Enix Account Management System with immediate effect. We'd like to apologise for the sudden removal of these features but would like to reassure all customers that we still offer a varied range of payment options for the purchase of Crysta or subscription payments.
