Thread: major issue with patch 2.5 regarding xbox 360 controller control scheme

Hi there.
i am using an xbox 360 controller to play the PC version of ff14. ever since patch 2.5 cam out there has been an issue that has caused the game to become unplayabe (for me at least)
all of the controls have been re-assigned and re-mapped
-A button has now become the left stick
-B button has now become the right stick
-Y button has now become the view toggler
-X button is now the Fight button
-start button is now jump
-select button is now the map view button(what x used to be)
-the analog sticks do nothing (with the exception of the right stick in which the x axis controls the forward and back movement of the character. nothing else works)
-the only control which still works is right bumper (but after holding it down you still need to use A and B to select the different action menu's)
-and finally the only way to steer your character is to use the d-pad

this is a major game breaking issue for me as i have an extremely hard time using a mouse and keyboard for this game.
and before you ask yes i have used another controller and yes i have re-installed the xbox 360 drivers.
