true, that was a nice story, and I think that was the original intent of the crafting system design, and it still can be with the changes, at higher levels anyway.

I haven't really said anything in this thread since Yoshi P posted his comment, mainly because of what you just touched on there -- changes at higher levels.

The crafting system could definitely benefit from changes, but I hope they do it very carefully instead of gutting and completely dumbing down the system the way the original letter sounded.
