I don't think they would want that kind of rep of deleting player's data from their server,I bet they are hard at work right now, recovering the server and i'm sure they have backup of backup to go to and use.remember they had to backup the 1.0 characters before we went to 2.0 era, so i am sure they have backup of every character that was created since the very start of the game
