Cant get to the character load screen

Been trying since last night. Can select the data center, can choose the acct. Cant get past this to the character loading screen. It just goes black and has the lil icon in the bottom left that keeps cycling. Had to reinstall and repatch yesterday. Not sure why this is not working.

So this is affecting PC users too? No just PS users?

Nope, just PS users.

if you're on PC then something else is going on.

updated video drivers lately?

I'm having the same issue since the newest patch. I'm guessing it has something to do with windows 8.1 and this newest FFXIV patch.

I am using windows 7 professional. Did just upgrade my computer, but that should of helped not hindered. Using a Geforce GTX 760 now. Maybe i should go try and download drivers from NVIDA's site?

Same issue. Just logged to switch chars. and now it sits for awhile trying to load the data center before saying error 2002 and shutting the whole thing down.

Same thing I was doing PVP, I got 90k then error 2002. I play on PC.

Edit, now I can see character on screen, but I get error 1014 when trying to laod in.

Same thing with me, happened about 10 minutes ago, got 2002 2006 and another I can't remember, something about World Data for Gilgamesh not being able to be obtained.

So I suppose my progress is that I was able to look at my character in the select screen, but can't get into the world.
