Sony under DDOS attack.

So from what i can tell, PSN and other services such as riot and blizzard are under a DDOS attack which in turn prevents us from accessing final fantasy 14. my subscribed days! ;_;
Im not entirely sure where to post this, but as most people will probably be searching here to find out more before widening their search for the psn or, maybe even skip here.

Yes and it is still going on. And for some strange reason I can't reply on the gen. forum list anymore. My main is lvl i68.

Whats more frustrating is the fact I've been waiting for Hyperion to open up for character creation for my girlfriend to start her first character on a new account. Woke up early this morning to create and found PSN in the state its still struggling in now. Not to mention Hyperion being closed again. So much for my day off of work. D:

And those claiming responsibility has said along the lines of this~ "Sony has made a lot of money from our purchases and doesn't do enough for its users, stop the greed" which kind of shows the motivation behind it, they also mentioned "planting the isis flag on Sony's servers" which was even worse. Comparing Sony to the likes of isis lol...

Lets hope an extremely skilled hacker takes on a vigilante cause to seek and destroy their computers =D (rages internally)

So, I did a quick google on this Lizard Squad.. they're complaining about PSN being greedy, making money off their service or something. But, isn't PSN free..?

Yes it is for the most part. To get discounts on games and free games it cost money.

Yeah, but it's not required to play online.. Hope these guys get caught and go to jail. This is ruining my day off. I can't even watch Netflix!
