Fed: 3 O'ghomoro berries, 3rd gave me feather message.

Result: Ash Grey
Glad to be finally out of the Green cycle..
I'm not sure how to proceed. I havent got a plan for waht colour I actually want, just seeing what looks nice for now.

From Desert Yellow with a Fair Stable Condition I got Lavender Purple after feeding it around 15 Berries with 12 Feather Messages.

Yesterday I gave my chocobo five apples, three of them procced. Woke up the next day to a milicorn yellow chocobo.

Today I gave my chocobo 19 apples, and 10 of them procced. Later I ended up with a pumpkin orange chocobo.

I'm trying for a dalamund red chocobo, so hopefully I'm on the right path. ^_^

Also, my friend tried for a snow white chocobo so, he fed his chocobo eight plums, and three of them procced. He ended up with a slyph green chocobo.

It must be wrong though, because in the end he got a sunset orange chocobo.

And my friend ended up getting a blood red chocobo. Oh and he fed his sunset orange chocobo seven valfruit and got two feather procs.
We're gonna toy with fruits to find out how to get dalamund red from there.

ok so with my personal experience, every new fruit after we get a "feathers change" message will result in the same message (because no matter how many fruits you add, the feathers are already going to change from original).

with that, the only precise experiments that we can do is when we only get one message.


as for me, 10 apples, 10 berries (in that order), messages from 3rd apple, and the result in coral pink. I gave it 2 more apples for a "more red" result (message at 2nd), will update in 6 hours with the precise coral pink => more red result

I'll welcome any idea on how to make it red dalamud on single messages steps

Feed #1 - Honey Yellow

• Cieldalaes Pineapple x3

Result = Honey Yellow

* It took 3 Pineapples before the "Grows New Feathers" message appeared.

also, my GF followed this exactly (pineapples until 1 message) and got the exact same result.

Desert yellow => pineapple => honey yellow seems confirmed

My steps so far:

Step 1: 2 apples went to millioncorn yellow (message of feathers changing appeared at second feed)

Step 2: 12 apples did nothing (mesage about changing feathers did not appear and i ran out of feed)

Step 3: 2 apples and then 1 valfruit (message about changing happened only once feeding the valfruit - possible that you must feed them a different fruit each step?) went to pumpkin orange

Step 4: 5 valfruit and then 3 apples (message appeared at first apple) went to sunset orange

My personal feeling here is that you need only two fruits per step for a change, but one of those must be different to the last fruit you fed them. Anyone else get that feeling?

nope, my gf got her message in 2 pineapples. Also, pumpkin => sunset has been confirmed with 1 apple message only, sorry but your valfruit got to waste :/

nope, my gf got her message in 2 pineapples. Also, pumpkin => sunset has been confirmed with 1 apple message only, sorry but your valfruit got to waste :/

Blood Red > Regal Purple

Well I'm taking a step backwards since last round I was Regal Purple > Blood Red. My goal is still more of a grape purple but not quite sure what to do next.

Mostly blue, with a large amount of red and green that doesnt surpass the amount of blue being fed. It's as close to black as it gets, but with more blue mixed into it.
