Where do you buy the seeds initially?

Buy them in your GC from the Hunts Billman (If I got the name right) with allied seals. Each seed costing 15 allied seals. Bear in mind, the seeds are untradeable but the fruit is tradeable.

I don't quite remember how I got from blood red to loam bown, but after getting Loam Brown feed it 2 berries, 1 Pear to Deepwood green.

From deepwood green, 1 Valfruit to soot black.

Interesting, so at the deepest green, a green lightener made it black. Trying out a pineapple on my ink blue bird now.

Following these words lead me right where I wanted to go, as well as that spreadsheet with the colors. I automatically assumed things were increased by +6/-6

Can you point me out in the right way towards soot black from coeurl yellow? :/
I'm so confused with all of this. The more i try to deepen colors, the further from black i get... ;_;

Keep in mind, this is not a complete 100% exact science yet, and will take a few Plumage changes to better guide you toward the color you want.

Here is the color chart for COEURL YELLOW:

182R 129G 3B

I would recommend the following for starters:

x10 O'ghomoro Berry
x3 Mamook Pear

What this should do is greatly reduce your Chocobo's RED color (which Coeurl Yellow is high in) while raising your BLUE color a bit (which it is very low in).
The green will also decrease by a small amount (theoretically).

If you report back the plumage color change after this feed, we can help you again to direct it more toward your desired color or Soot Black.

I'm so confused with all of this. The more i try to deepen colors, the further from black i get... ;_;

Start feeding it some berries to raise the blue value, but lower the green and red.

I'm at Mesa Red (118, 51, 4) at the moment. What should I feed it next to aim for Soot Black? I need to lower the number on the red (118).
