Bring them back. Make them meaningful. There are residual elemental resistances, which nobody gives a flying flick about, because they do not amount to anything because elemental spells only cause status debuffs, if anything. Casters are way too pre-built with no chance of customising any preference towards an element at all. It's been a constant grief of mine ever since they reworked conjurer into healer in 1.xx.
