    Yeah, I've still got all the server tools I use during development, but I've got almost everything that I wanted out of the Windows 8 feature set turned on also. Have half a terabyte of games, only one not working right is this one, post update. I don't know of any services that can be queried for DirectX info, and I checked my registry settings reflect the availability of DirectX 9.0c and 11.1 (it's fine), so kind of at a loss.

    I'm half tempted to take the .exe apart with a decompiler but I don't have the time today. Regardless, I'd love to be able to play when the work day is over.

    So, confirmed not working so far in this thread: Windows Server 2008R2, Window Server 2012, Windows Server 2012R2

    Probably fairly safe to assume Windows Server 2008 wouldn't work either.
