    End-all 100% HQ Rotations Thread

For too long I've had multiple pages bookmarked with different rotations for different items. I figured it would be more convenient to put them all together in one place. Preference goes to rotations that use 0 RNG, and if possible little to no food.

None of these are my own creation, and I have linked to the original poster if you would like more information and feedback on any specific macro.

Notice: I will not be listing the cross class skill requirement on every individual rotation. If you need to reference which skills are needed, here is a list:

    Lvl 50 Carpenter's Byregote's Blessing
Lvl 37 Culinarian's Steady Hands II
    Lvl 50 Alchemist's Comfort Zone
Lvl 50 Weaver's Careful Synthesis II
    Lvl 50 Goldsmith's Innovation
    Lvl 50 Blacksmith's Ingenuity II
Lvl 50 Armorer's Piece by Piece

Also, as most all of you know, if you proc an excellent on the Great Strides before Byregot's, DO NOT USE GREAT STRIDES, instead just use Byregot's.

    3 Star 80 Dura (1500+ / 4980 Quality)
**Thanks to Lyrinn via Reddit and the many people who helped fine tune this rotation**
There is no way to 100% get an HQ 3 star item without RNG, as far as I know. If that is incorrect, please correct me!

    Requirements:
    - Full overmelds
    - 391 Craftsmanship / 374 Control / 388 CP
    - All HQ mats possible.
    - Terminus Putty is only ~40% HQable with this method as it is all LQ mats
    - WVR / LTW max starting Quality is 1000, which gives an avg of 91% HQ

    The "Rotation"
"Rotation" is in quotes because this is not a strict rotation. This is because this method relies on ToT procs and since those are random, your actual rotation may be different every time. Rather, it's a priority system. All this is explained below the rotation.

    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Steady Hand II
    Piece by Piece
    Piece by Piece
    Hasty Touch/Basic Touch until 20/80 or 10/80
*Refresh Comfort Zone when it falls off and Steady Hand II whenever you plan in doing another touch
    Master's Mend II
    Hasty Touch/Basic Touch until 40/80
    Steady Hand
    Great Strides
    Ingenuity II
    (Innovation)
    Byregot's Blessing
    Careful Synthesis II
    Careful Synthesis II
    Careful Synthesis II

    * Piece by Piece is up in the front because you don't need Ingenuity II to use it. By "passing" 2 turns, you increase your chances of getting a ToT proc before you need to finish up, whereas if you do it at the end, any Good or Excellent conditions that crop up in the last 5 steps will be wasted because you don't have any spare Durability for a touch (plus your Inner Quiet stacks will have already been used).

    * Priorities go to Tricks of the Trade, then to Basic Touch, and finally to Innovation. More ToT procs means more CP which means more Basic Touches instead of Hasty Touches which means less RNG. If you're just rolling in ToT procs, you can throw in an Innovation right after Master's Mend II for even more quality, or you can use a Basic Touch on a Good condition. Pick your poison.

    * For the final progress steps, move one of the Careful Synthesis II steps to before Byregot's Blessing if the condition is normal and if you opt out of using Innovation. The final steps and buff durations will then look like this (each --> delineates a single step, not skill): --> SH2 (5) --> SH2 (4) + GS (3) --> SH2 (3) + GS (2) + Ing2 (5) --> Careful Synthesis II + SH2 (2) + GS (1) + Ing2 (4) --> Byregot's Blessing. By "passing" another turn like you do with PbP, you increase your chances of landing Byregot's Blessing on a Good or Excellent Condition.

    * In order to pull the final steps off, you need a minimum of 110 CP without Innovation and 128 with Innovation. Therefore, plan your CP accordingly and use Basic Touches early so you don't risk losing a turn to Hasty Touch's failure, yet don't use too many Basic Touches at the risk of running dry on CP. Calculator or Excel if you need to.

    * On average, this will take about 25+ steps, which leaves you more than enough turns to fit in two Comfort Zones.

    * From my experience, you will need to use, on average, only 2 or 3 Hasty Touches. Out of 8 quality steps, just under half of those have a 80% success rate.

    * Obvious stuff like using Basic Touch on Excellents is, well, obvious.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

It would be polite to source these rotations. They are not all yours (are any?) Be respectful to their creators by linking to them, not copying them here.

Sorry Selene, I know some of these are yours. None of these are original creations of mine, and I didn't even infer that. Sorry if anyone was misled. I've actually just had them copied to my computer for some time and would have to search out the sources to link them. I'll try to do so later, but the important thing is to have a singular location for ease, instead of having to search out multiple sites for different kinds of rotations.

Sorry to be picky, but if your first rotation is an non-100% 40 dur that is <95%, then I feel you need to include the 381 CP HT rotation that is closer to 100% for those with higher stats.

The title is 100% HQ, so why no posting of the rotation that is closest to 100%?

Is any HT rotation definitively 100%? No because you can have a bad run and fail 4 or 5 times, in which case your extra CP doesnt matter. Its the highest guaranteed percentage I know of, as nothing HT is guaranteed.

You fail to understand the logic behind those HT rotations. It isn't about HT not being 100%, but building up better chances to get BB to push quality to 100%.

What is the difference between HT at 80% vs the quality for HQ at 80%? Result? Same, both are RNG and can have a bad run of 4-5x. The main benefit with the HT rotations, is they give you more chances to build up your IQ, which will help BB push the quality to 100%, hence giving you higher HQ end results.

Believe me, after a few thousands of 40D with the 381 CP rotation, it is pretty close to 100% HQ.

EDIT: BTW, post #4, is for 80D, and can be done with 392 craft.

Since this is an end-all, be-all thread, I am requesting that you post the macros to complement the rotations. No good crafter would be set without a good macro handy.
