100% High Quality Two Star Rotation: No Food, NQ Materials, No RNG

    My Other Rotation:

100% RNG Free 40 Durability Rotation
100% RNG Free Artisan Tool Bauble Synth Rotation

    ---

Recently got your Artisan Tool? Fully melded so you can synth three stars but finding money making prospects a little underwhelming or tricky? Some of the two star synths remain excellent sellers: Potions, Food, etc. Take a peek around your market boards to see for yourself. Either way I would like to share another rotation of mine suited to mass producing two star items when you've obtained your Artisan Tool. Similar to my Tool rotation, this one has a 100% success rate with no RNG. The difference is you do not need any food nor HQ materials. The rotation will reach 100% quality 100% progress without food and with NQ materials.

There are lots of two star rotations posted but the bit about this one I like is it doesn't require food. This means I only need food for three stars, adding Bouillabaisse to my list of money makers. It also uses normal quality materials making mass production cheaper and easier. The rotation itself is only seventeen steps and my macros take fourty three seconds to finish. Manual crafting with this rotation takes me as little as thirty seconds!

    Requirements:

    - Your Artisan Tool (See Here)
    - 396 Craftsmanship (Full Melds + Craftsmanship III on your off hand), 375 Control, 341 CP. This means fully melded gear *

    - Cross Class skills:
    --- CRP 50: Byregot's Blessing
--- WVR 50: Careful Synthesis II
    --- BSM 50: Ingenuity II
--- CUL 37: Steady Hand II
    --- GSM 50: Innovation
    --- ALC 50: Comfort Zone

    * Unlike my tool rotation, the stats here are more or less bang on what you need. There is not much quality left over and it finishes the synth by a single progress point. You shouldn't have a problem reaching these stats if you've already made a three star synth with your new tool. If you don't meet the requirement you can always meld anyway. Three stars sell for big bucks!

    The Rotation:

    01 - Comfort Zone
    02 - Inner Quiet
    03 - Steady Hand II
    04 - Ingenuity II
    05 - Basic Touch
    06 - Basic Touch
    07 - Basic Touch
    08 - Basic Touch
    09 - Careful Synthesis II
    10 - Great Strides
    11 - Steady Hand
    12 - Ingenuity II
    13 - Advanced Touch
    14 - Great Strides *
    15 - Innovation
    16 - Byregot's Blessing
    17 - Careful Synthesis II

    * If you get an 'Excellent' after applying Great Strides on Step 14, use Byregot's Blessing before Innovation, otherwise your Byregot's Blessing will be on 'Poor' condition. You don't need to bother with Innovation after.

This rotation will produce two star items with no food and normal quality materials 100% of the time in 30 seconds (manual) or 43 seconds (macro). This makes mass producing food for personal or financial use as well as Potions, Armour to Spiritbind, etc, much simpler and mindless. Whack on your favourite film and mash the macros for ample supplies of whatever two star item your heart desires!

For the theorists amongst you, you may notice this rotation differs from the rest in that it uses no durability recovery actions. The aim of this rotation was to make it quicker and more efficient by making the most of the steps it does make. Although Advanced Touch is not the most efficient quality per CP action, it's the biggest boost you can get in a single step, therefore squeezing in as much quality in those eight durability losses.

    This Rotation in Macros:

So here are the three macros I use for those who are looking for a cut and paste:

    Macro 1:
    /action "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Inner Quiet" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Steady Hand II" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Ingenuity II" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Basic Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Great Strides" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Steady Hand" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Ingenuity II" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Advanced Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Great Strides" <me> <wait.2>
/echo CHECK CONDITION: If Excellent, hit Macro 3. If not, hit Macro 2!
    Macro 2:
    /action "Innovation" <me> <wait.2>
    /action "Byregot's Blessing" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /echo Done!
    Macro 3:
    /action "Byregot's Blessing" <me> <wait.3>
    /action "Careful Synthesis II" <me> <wait.3>
    /echo Done!
If you want to just synth without worrying about the condition on Byregot's, you just hit Macros 1 > 2 over and over. But if you're keeping an eye on the condition for guaranteed high qualities, hit Macro 2 or 3 last depending on the condition on Step 13's Great Strides.

    Conclusion:

You never need to go hungry again!

kind of surprised no one has commented on this yet..

I checked your rotation out and yeah it works for sure. you absolutely need those stats as well.

I tried macroing it like you had and it would not allow the first macro for some reason, so I broke it up the old way into a 4 macro rotation and it worked straight away. so if anyone else tries this then you might need to do that.

congratulations on working this out and thanks for saving me the trouble.

    Hi there!

First I want to thank you for sharing this macro. As someone who has the melds I am very happy for a way to produce 2 star food in high amounts without decimating my Bouillabaisse reserves.

Concerning the minimum stats you mentioned, I would like to add that 393 craftsmanship is enough for it to work. Also by moving the first Ingenuity 2 after the first two Basic Touches, it provides a bigger bonus since an equivalent of 5 Basic Touches are buffed and the control at this point is already increased by 2 Inner Quiet stacks.

    01 - Comfort Zone
    02 - Inner Quiet
    03 - Steady Hand II
    04 - Basic Touch
    05 - Basic Touch
    06 - Ingenuity II
    07 - Basic Touch
    08 - Basic Touch
    09 - Great Strides
    10 - Steady Hand II
    11 - Advanced Touch
    12 - Innovation
    13 - Great Strides *
    14 - Ingenuity II
    15 - Byregot's Blessing
    16 - Careful Synthesis II
    17 - Careful Synthesis II

Doing this should lower the control requirements but I cannot guess by how much.

    Cheers
    Jeni

Thanks for the tip Jeni. This does indeed reach a slightly higher quality! When the first rotation did the job I didn't look to fine tuning it too much, since all my crafts were already melded. Helpful for others though.

Something I forgot to mention is you will need to meld +5 (A tier 3) Craftsmanship materia to your off hand to meet the Craftsmanship requirement if you are going off the melds I listed in the other thread, the three start tool one. I'm not sure it will complete in two steps without that, but most people meld their off hand with some anyway.

It won't. I buggered up my first attempt at this rotation with no control on my off hand.

In anycase, I put 10 craft on it for the giggles, and it works fine now. Thanks!

To be honest the requirements to use this macro are insane, I can HQ any 3 star craft, but I don't meet the requirements to use this on any of my crafts xD

    This is what I use:

    Part 1:

    /ac "Comfort Zone"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Inner Quiet"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Waste Not"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand II"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Basic Touch"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Great Strides"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Steady Hand"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Standard Touch"<me>

If "Excellent" condition after this stage use Part 3, else use Part 2 to finish the craft.

    Part 2:

    /ac "Great Strides"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me>

    Part 3:

    /ac "Byregot's Blessing"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me>

Requires: 355 Craftsmanship, 341 CP, 340+ Control (Not 100% sure on the exact control needed for 100%, but should be around 340).

Also uses less cross class skills, if people don't have everything at 50.

Only negative I see is that it usually uses 1 skill more than the OP's macro, making each craft take a couple of seconds longer.

What's so insane about it? Fully melded gear, the new ilvl70 head piece, the new ilvl70 primary tool, and all available cross-class actions should be what every crafter is striving for anyway.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

To get that Craftmanship *without sacrificing Control* it requires very costly melds and needs to be done for all 8 classes.

You don't need fully melded gear to craft anything HQ with a very high success rate, so what is the point in wasting all that gil?

With the gil saved from more modest melds, you could buy a lifetime supply of CP food xD

I've just noticed your thread from yesterday:

This may get you to the craftsmanship requirement for this macro, but by sacrificing much more valuable stats. (Control and CP)

For the OP's macro, to get the Craftsmanship required (with every other part max medled) without sacrificing the more valuable stats you need to meld this:

    +4 Control (IV)
    +4 Control (IV)
    +6 Craftmanship (IV)
    +3 Control (III)
    +3 CP (III)

Offhand has only 1 safe slot, so the overmelds will be much like the accessories/belt (low %'s), good luck doing that for 8 different crafts xD

Personally I'm fine with 391+ Craftsmanship on each class and do see the point of going any higher.
