Combat Text ! Plz Help and SE CHANGE THAT!

Hey GUys,

i have a problem. im playing tank (meele) atm, and if im solo playing its fine, BUT if im in group and are tanking mobs why the fuck do i have to see when the monk changes in opoo-opoo stance or if the summoner dots the target.

I JUST WANNA SEE MY DMG / BUFFS, even the heals idc about, my whole screen is full o text (im playing on ps4) and there is no option to just see MY DMG AND MY BUFFS (u can change only ur debuffs, but this is just on the target-detail, u still see other dots / buffs in combat text...)

I need to see my dmg and the dmg i take as a tank and for pvp.. cant put it off, but this is disco light and wall of text in the middle of my screen

My bf has been wanting more customization options for combat text since the game came out. I would imagine a lot of people would be interested in such a thing. However, I'm sure it could be worded without the swear words and what not to be taken more seriously.

everything you complained about can be turned off. you just aren't looking hard enough. turn everyone elses batttle effects off, and turn flying text off, and done.

What he is asking for cannot be done until se implements some customisation to the flying text. He doesn't want everything off. He just wants his only his fly text displayed. As it is in, I dunno just about every other mmo ever since its information over load to have every single persons flying text displayed constantly.

As usual the SE white knight defence force flying to the rescue because a user wants more ui customisations like its a bad thing.

People seem to not know the difference between combat log and the scrolling combat text/flying text. I made a similar request in the UI forums.

Your flying text is a different color than everyone else's. Sorry if I don't understand the issue.
