There's not enough option for this. Quite a lot of the game's mechanics work in such a way that encourages the party to simply stack together. Often times the healers of the party casts spells on the party that grants a buff on the party and it shows for every single one of them. It's very distracting and can be deadly when you're also required to disperse because of an aoe indicator right under the party's feet (T8 missiles). I can turn the text off but now it's harder for me to know when I successfully buff myself with skills like heavy thrust or twin snakes. I can use my status effect bar to check but it's riddled with food buffs, protect, medica 2, galvanize, etc etc so that scrolling text really helps with self buff activation. Besides all that, it just gets really messy when a lot of things happen on screen. So, what I'd like to see:

-option to move around the scrolling text 'window' as a whole (done in hud layout menu)
-option to separate your dot damage, auto attack damage, and skill damage so they scroll at three different locations on the screen and customize their font color
-option to turn on/off everybody else's damage and heal/buff/debuff gains and customize their font color
-option to control scroll speed and how long it stays (could be helpful for healers if you can set the debuff gain on someone's character stays for a little bit longer)
-option to whitelist certain buffs and debuffs from other people on target bar if "only detrimental effects you inflict is turned on" and the debuffs do not stack (disembowel, dragon kick, etc)
-option to only display own buffs on own status effects display or adjust the size and prominence of self buffs and priority of display location
