HQ GOLD GEARS ROTATION IS IT POSSIBLE WITHOUT INGENUITY ll? PLEASE HELP

Hi as the Title says i need to HQ gold gears for my Goldsmith. I have all jobs at 50 apart from BSM & ARM they level 20. My stats are Craft 364, Control 358 & CP is 345 i can hit CP 388 with Food. I can 100% HQ these gears when i use simulator but only if i add Ingenuity II to rotation. When i add Ingenuity I i fall short on my progress and the synth fails. I will level BSM soon once my leve build back up but is it possible to do this without having BSM at 50?.

I would appreciate any help i read many forums but when i use the recommended synths my progress always falls short!. Thanks for your time all!.

It's possible, like it's possible to HQ something at 1% quality. These endgame synths are intended to be done by dedicated crafters (as in people who take the time to gain and utilize the tools available that makes them better at the craft). You're pretty much out of luck if you want those 80-100% quality synths without Ingenuity II. Ingenuity I would help, but nowhere near as reliably well, as you pointed out. You're just gonna have to either chance it or wait till you can get that BSM to 50.

Yeah i was hoping for a 100% progress synth i figured it would be impossible without Ingenuity II, seems i got a bit more grinding to do. Thanks for your reply Welsper59 much appreciated. Also if anyone has a rotation that can get me around 80-100% id be willing to use that also in the meantime cheers all.

I don't use Ing I or II for 3 star crafts, as long as I use some HQ mats (starting on 1k+ quality) I get around 98%+ (gets higher if I use more HQ mats).

So no it's not needed.

I don't use a "rotation" all my crafting is situational, depending on number of good proc's, cp etc.

Yeah if do it manually i guess you can use Tricks of the trade on a good proc for more durability, but was kinda hoping for a lazy press button type macro. Cheers for reply Scarebearz

The 388 CP rotation is literally 100% with HQ mats because every Touch is a SH2'd Basic Touch. Not using it is silly, risky, and a possible waste of HQ mats.

Rotations have room for TotT in some places, so it's not like you can't be situational with it.

I managed to get the Rose Gold gears to a 80-100% Quality i just removed 2 Hasty touches from my rotation, which leave me with enough durability to finish my synth. That will be good enough for now untill i unlock Ingenuity II.

There's still a lot of RNG and reliance on TotT though isn't there? I'd post my rotation that I used for those master craft turn-in items, but I'm not at home, so I can't access my macro rotation. :/ I, on average, only ended up with 1-3 NQ versions using the macro, by the time I got the 50 HQ results. Sometimes due to bad luck on the timing of "Poor" status. In fact, the rotation I use might not have even involved Ing II, /shrug... I'm pretty sure it did though. I just know it was very minimal with HT, as in maybe 1-2, if anything, and no reliance on TotT. I know it did rely on CP food though (being around 388, though lower was ok if I recall right).

Yes it is, I use this person's 80 durability 2 star recipe, but i alter it slightly due to the difficulty increase.

Basically the same goes like:
- "Inner Quiet"
- "Steady Hand II"
- "Basic Touch"
- "Basic Touch"
- "Basic Touch"
- "Basic Touch"
- "Basic Touch"
- "Manipulation"
- "Standard Touch"
- "Steady Hand"
- (If you got Excellent Condition, use Byregot's Blessing)
- "Great Strides" note: No need to use Great Strides if you use Byregot's Blessing on an excellent condition after the Standard Touch.
- (If you got Excellent Condition, use Byregot's Blessing)
- "Ingenuity" note: if you use Byregot's Blessing on an excellent condition after Great Strides, don't forget to use Ingenuity after it.
- "Byregot's Blessing"
- "Standard Synthesis"
- "Standard Synthesis"
- "Careful Synthesis"
- "Careful Synthesis"

Basically i flip steady hand and standard touch, leave it at 80%, so you will for sure have steady hand up for the now needed second standard synth and have zero chance to fail it. This uses 385 CP, and generally gets me 84-100% based on if any touches fail, and if i get a excellent/good on any of the touches/blessing.

P.S. This is including HQ mats of course.

Some items you cannot get HQ, making the Putty HQ is certainly not 100%.

98%+ starting on 1000 quality is not much of a risk and it's much faster when you can buy HQ twinthreads etc, to get to 1000 quality. I don't try and HQ Myth mats, as it's a waste of my time.

I was one of the first crafting 3 star on my server and my style of crafting was very successful for crafting dozens and dozens of items for people and to sell.

"Not using it is silly" I stopped crafting 3 star items before any of these rotations were even announced lol.
