LoS is easier on the healers, easier on the players, but bigger punishment brambles is easier on the targeted player, more work on the tank, more work on the healer. If LoS was not intended there wouldn't be the huge gap in time between when the flower disappears and the move goes off. If they wanted the player using LoS, it would just eat you right after the flower disappears and the flower would stay up longer. If this is an exploit then Using Los to dodge both the fire and the special atk on the second boss of WP is an exploit, which it's not.

Why's everyone so worked up over a Mod's comment that he would ask the dev? A mod isn't even someone that makes decisions in the game. They just read the forum, pass on whatever suggestion they find to the dev. And he wasn't even confirming that it's intended or not.

you didnt read the french thread, they call it the LOSer strat, call people using it noobs unable to do the right method ....

they report it as a bug also ask to sanction player who used it

so yes IMO that is elitism.

Should i consider reporting people, which avoid Divebombs? O_o

What a lot of people I think are missing is that all of the abilities people are listing as being dodgeable have a visible cast timer. Floral Trap and Devour both do not, and when doing the LOS method, the marked target still gets hit by Floral Trap (gets stunned and pulled into the boss) while avoiding Devour (since the boss doesn't turn between Floral Trap and Devour). So instead of truly "avoiding" the mechanic, you're (potentially) exploiting how the boss targets an enemy in order to avoid an attack.

And comparing this method to T2 enrage doesn't do anything, because T2 enrage allows you to bypass all regular mechanics, whereas T6 LOS method is just a different way of handling the mechanic.

I mean exploiting is really taking advantage of something that isn't supposed to be taken advantage of. I don't know why we have to cheese every single piece of content in this game. It wasn't until recently that I actually read what happens in T2. I've only known enrage method...and holy christ, the rules for T2 are so in depth and smart, but of course people just want to exploit the cheesiest way for everything.

It's line of sight. That's not a bug or exploit at all. The hilarious thing is this is SE. So they will consider this an exploit, but T2 enrage was alright.

Either way, the fight is still easy to do whether briar or briarless.

Actually I find T2 to be the sole oddity in this game. Everyone is about speedrunning and faster faster faster. (as they should be) But then it comes to T2 where yeah, lets sit around for 10 min because common sense too hard.
