    After all of the spam threads you make against jumping, it's still being implemented. I honestly don't think the small amount of players who are against this feature are going to change anything.

    If spamming makes you feel better... I guess that's understandable. Everyone likes to vent.

    Please guys don't allow people to think that just because they can play FFXIV they are entitled to play however they want.

    This is not WoW, it's FFXIV, and in FFXIV I am important. In FFXIV I am the one who decides how other people must play, and people must not jump in FFXIV. Why? Because jumping is simply wrong, and to add insult, it looks ridiculous. The main reason it's wrong though is that you can jump in WoW. WoW is -I've been told, since I've never played it- some sort of anarchist videogame in which people apparently don't tell other people how to move their characters or what they should wear. We all here agree that to have a good mmo experience, someone with refined taste and vast knowledge of videogames should take these decisions for the poor souls that don't know any better. Take subligars, for instance. It is not important that subligars are ridiculous enough to make anyone look like a clown, and that nobody would have ever worn them in a real medieval context; what's important is that I find them fundamental to the FFXIV experience. They were in FFXI, and so they must be in FFXIV.

    Was jump in FFXI? Nope. Was jump in any FF game? Nope! (FYI Tactics, tactics advance, tactics a2... everyone knows they're not even real FFs lol).

    If you're going to give these anarchists jump, at least you should severely hinder its use by adding a cooldown or fatigue system, so that we can still control their games.

    Actually, I get the feeling that jump is still a little ways off, though I might be wrong. Even after it's implemented, however, it probably won't fully live up to the dev team's vision for it until the area redesign hits. And that won't be for a long time.

    Not sure why you assumed jumping wouldn't be used to get to higher places. That pretty much defeats the purpose of jumping.
