OP, i feel with u. The Problem is this game isnt made for longevity and what u want and Need i very hard to find in this game, just because it lacks durability, also because its fresh, it is no suprise lots of fc break up or end up with People abonding the game.

The fact u dont Need anyone in this game beside some endgame Content to reach ure Goals doesnt help either with the ability to make friends. I dont think this isnt the right game for u to be honest, try FFXI or elder scrolls online for example These are games with

a better community and a better gaming experience, not only because These games have a "life" the envoirenment is more realistic to me and more lively and touching but also the community is better in my opinion. this is bacause the games Need u to interact with People more and are less fast paced.

Many of the posts in OP's history makes you fully understand why they struggle to make "friends" in game.

You won't make many friends if you go into a pug instance as a WHM with 30 VIT + VIT gear and confuse the people who are just there trying to clear the stupid fight.

kinda sad how this game is very straight line and you cannot do anything else with your class than intended.
afaik, wasnt ninja not a tank class in ffxi? but worked as such anyways so ppl just stuck to it.
you have very littly variety in this game to go off course.
im waiting to see a PLD tank, and a WAR dps and see how that goes since lots of ppl though

I'm on same server and all I know is she asked for advice on starting a new fc on our server forums and then disbanding that. Also sighted selling expensive nuts

I had so much hope for my last fc that i decided to keep the 2 nuts and make them a manor harpsichord & manor harp. All came from my pocket so it was just a nice little thing i wanted to share with them. But in the end i decided to let them keep the stuff when i got kicked out. I knew they wouldn't sell and i was happy to know tht some ppl were excited to see the new manor instruments.
I disbanded the fc cuz it was happening all over again, the scenario where ur usually the only one on out of the other 20 ppl who haven't logged on for more than 15+ days etc.

Yeah that post was wayyy back.
But still, i stand by my decision strongly perhaps even more stronger as i got back into pvp and have been hitting that sweet spot of wins in the 30/40 brackets ( not ready for 50 as i have no morale gear etc yet ).
I usually use all tht tanky mentality and actually go hunt dps down once the battlefield has settled. Because my hp in 30/40 sits around 20-100 hp under tank's. The fact that i have purify, sacred prism & attunement & stoneskin make this whole whm tank approach more acceptable.
But yeah i just don't have anymore motivation to cause "problems" for others? I just cap on tues morning, sell my myth items, look in pf if there's anything interesting going on, check the mb for price drops, & now probably pvp till reset because i forgot how different and fun it is.

I had a few false starts... FCs that I thought would be small and friendly but they only talked to those they knew well. One larger FC that had skilled people and were friendly to chat with... but they only seldom helped those outside their close friends and I couldn't get a coil static with...
I never got kicked from any, though. That's harsh...

There's a bittersweet ending... I did, eventually, find an FC that's both endgame capable and very nice, and does a lot of side activities together and helps each other out...
The bitter part is I discovered I don't really like FFXIV even with a solid group...

That said... I do have a little tough-love advice to give...
If you're still doing the tanky WHM thing, and want to run endgame content, that's a problem. There's a lot of mechanics--instakills, knockoffs, etc--where no amount of HP will save you... And ignoring or failing to deal with the mechanics can get others killed as well...
The incoming damage is also really high, so you do need that MND from WHM accessories to keep the party alive and keep the other healer from going OOM...
If you don't want to do endgame stuff--primals, coil, etc--you can do as you like, though...

PVP is definitely a place to try unconventional strategies, since everyone focuses on the healer there and it kind of shafts the traditional trinity...

Imo it's just cuz ppl don't like tanky healers. I don't even do t6+ / levi ex and i still get hated and questioned by everyone who clicks examine.
One of the reasons y the previous fc dismissed me was cuz they were fearful of my playstyle.
I still cleared content so why can't i live in peace when i don't even touch your hardcore BiS 2nd coil and levi ex?
I had no problem making friends in other games as i play on ps3.
I was a big littlebigplanet fanatic, i loved making games/stuff for 3 other ppl to play with cuz at the end of the day it's a game and it's satisfying to see ppl having fun even when you know it's not your best work.

That healer was trash talking me about the whole whm tank= bad & the whole talk about mind loss etc.
I let them take a dirt nap because they need to be taught a lesson that if you overgear things then obviously you can take a few hits if you know the fight inside out and is capable of solo healing.
It's really hard to stay with a playstyle when almost everybody is against you. This just shows that ppl like you can't let the past go and must bring it up just to remind the person how evil they can be.

If not then you should change yourself first, and then look for a nice FC to join after.

Last I ran with the OP (a week or two ago)...nope, no change. Still had Tank accessories on, and, TBH...healing was sub-par, at best (even factoring in the tank accessories and full-VIT build). (EDIT: even today you still have it. Loadstone doesn't lie.)

I don't have any questions why the OP can't find a group to run with. At all. He needs to change. A lot. Until he does, he'll keep getting "thrown to the side" for better players.

Drop the tank-WHM "thing" you insist on. ASAP. Stop thinking you're a hero for doing it and play your job right. You're only gimping yourself and your party, and will never find a group to play with if you insist on this "build". Never. I doubt you'll be able to clear T5 without the full Echo buff (and even then, with the insta-kill mechanics you'll still die without learning the fight instead of trying to tank everything) and completely forget about doing Coil2.

Yeah OP, I'm gonna side with "everyone else". I wouldn't never trust you to heal with me major fights.
