I used to do the same for the flow purposes, then i just forced myself to get used to moving back and forth.     Some questions from my side to be sure:
    1. the SkS part of GL reduces the GCD the following way? GL1: 0.95*GCD, GL2: 0.9*GCD, GL3: 0.85*GCD?
    2. the GCD with SkS is 2.5/(2610/(2951-SkS))?
    3. both SkS and GL1 would then be 0.95*2.5/(2610/(2951-SkS))?
    4. how works damage buff? If I am full buff (FoF, GL3, DK & Twin), multiplier is 1.42*1.1? And if I also use BfB (BfB, FoF, GL3,DK,Twin), is the multiplier 1.52*1.1 or is it 1.1*1.42*1.1?
    5. is there any blunt damage in our cross class ckills? I am particurlarly interested in Fracture.
    Also anyone has an idea of how much roughly increase in DPS is the use of a STR pot alone (I mean during the 15 seconds)? A range is fine also.

    The use of CDs is also a 'concern' for me. Compared to the other kind of opener Demo Snap Snap DK Twin Boot True Demo ToD DK Twin Snap, one flaw of the kind of opener Demo Snap Snap DK Snap DK Twin Demo Boot True Snap is that to maximize the use of IR, one would want that it does not overlap with Boot due to auto crit (of course the auto crit is an advantage also). It forces you to use your CDs at the very start of the opener (of course this also allows for one more additional use of the CDs but I am not sure that it happens so often), not benefiting of stacking CDs and full buff. I was wondering if it was that interesting in fact and if delaying the use of CDs untill full buff wouldn't be more interesting. Indeed, during sustained, IR also overlap with auto crit of Boot and nobody cares.

    Also the use of CDs may change the results, so it would be nice to see how it compares to the other kind of opener (with the use of CDs). Anyone you can post such an opener?

    I didn't check or whatever but I believe that using Impulse Drive can be a dps increase (with more TP consumption) if used well. I can imagine two ways:
    • use it the same as is Fracture can be currently. It is less potent but it is more flexible so it can be fitted more easily
    • perform the rotation DK Twin Demo Fracture Boot True Snap DK Twin Demo Boot True ID Snap or something similar.
    Edit: Hum, in fact no XD. DK Twin Demo ToD Boot True Snap DK Twin Demo Boot True Fracture Snap would already be better.

    Hmmm, that's just asking to clip auto attacks. I would avoid this under any circumstances for an extended boss fight. For trash I just go with whatever, but for an extended fight I set myself up for DK + Twin and Boot + True to be paired because it significantly reduces movement flank <-> rear, among other benefits involving the use of ToD + Fracture.

    Impulse Drive no longer has a place on a MNK's hotbar. You've got far better tools natively, and Fracture > Impulse Drive and still doesn't provide a large increase to DPS.

    Ah, been a while... lol. I still didn't do that myself, but what I did do was intentionally trigger the aoe while I was doing the final combo so that I'd be safe when I went to the rear.

    Either way, extra movement is involved, so I suppose it doesn't matter.

    Yeah what Lawena said. Back then I would get clip by her tail cleave when I go to rear for boot/true. So what Isis was just going flank rear flank rear. It was a lot of movement but I didn't mind it a don top of that lol my hands had mind of each and it pretty much knew what bottons to press. We'll today I ran my monk for the first since last yr November and I tell u what my dots buff dbuffs and positioning was all bad, my gl3 keeps dropping. It feels like I just started playing mnk, it was so bad. Been running drg so much and trying to complete novus.

    Now that 2.3 has been out for a while, what seems to be the MNK BiS, there seem to be a few floating but I haven't seen an update on here since the initial 2.2 release IIRC.
