Yeah I'm pretty salty that pretty much kills weaving Forbidden Chakra into the mix.

I must add that the tooltip has no mention of the Chakra stacks being expended on use of either Purification or Forbidden Chakra. But I doubt this is the case considering Forbidden Chakra has an apparent 5s recast.
Oh well![]()
from what I see on reddit i dont' see a change with shoulder tackle
that's the same text as before on Shoulder Tackle.

So with GL3 and skillspeed meditate triggers a gcd of about 1.15 ~ 1.2 seconds? Not bad at all.
30s insta cast, 100 potency, 2s stun must be 10 yalms away to use. Does that sound similar I must confess I've never read the shoulder tackle tooltip before now.
Still the same old skill T_T
Now i wonder why they list Shoulder Tackle in skill change along with Featherfoot and Demolish...
Seeing the other skills from classes and their changes, I gotta say I'm pretty underwhelmed with the monk ones, a lot of these new monk skills aren't going to be really used unless the end game fights are like 2.0 primals, in retrospective on final coil of bahamut there's very very little instances you are gonna use chakra, except for example Teraflare, there's also pretty few instances once you learn the fight where you'll loose grease lightning which are mainly phase changes. Now that people is posting around the skills from garland tools, I'm pretty dissapointed, because anyone actually adept at the class din't have much problems with what they are trying to address.
Dungeons looks better now, and primal style fights, but from the endgame standpoint this is dissapointing, in the sense of novelty and doing something new with your rotation, monk might be strong with the crit buff and skill speed buff, but that's a passive improvement, and not a gameplay change or improvement as the one ninja, summoner and dragoon recieved, as dragoon changed drastically.
Not only is DRGs(example) changes a lot more interesting, they're getting added damage to jumps, 2 more combo attacks doing high potency, another crit buff(affecting others too) and another oGCD attack... How is that not a bigger increase in DPS than MNK? and they're already pretty much on par with DPS...Seeing the other skills from classes and their changes, I gotta say I'm pretty underwhelmed with the monk ones, a lot of these new monk skills aren't going to be really used unless the end game fights are like 2.0 primals, in retrospective on final coil of bahamut there's very very little instances you are gonna use chakra, except for example Teraflare, there's also pretty few instances once you learn the fight where you'll loose grease lightning which are mainly phase changes. This exactly, even what's more, the last moments of DRG 2.0, the top parses damage wise were from dragoon and ninja, not monk (in coil fights, not training dumies nor turn 11), but the problem is the overabundant bad dragoon players, that made the class look bad, and that the job was the worst dps in history, which since their latest update it was not.Not only is DRGs(example) changes a lot more interesting, they're getting added damage to jumps, 2 more combo attacks doing high potency, another crit buff(affecting others too) and another oGCD attack...
