What in that picture makes you think they are GCDs?

... but looking at the abilities, the last 2 ones clearly are grayed/blacked out and the first ability is not... Makes no sense that you can't use Purify, but can use Forbidden Chakra, since they both cost the same...

See I think that first icon is not Forbidden Chakra, but looks like the "Move Form" ability, as it has been mentioned here that if it was Forbidden Chakra then the icon should have been greyed out as well. Although, this means the Forbidden Chakra icon is missing in that screenshot. It may share icon with the Chakra ability itself (2nd icon), although this is another speculation.

Forbidden Chakra sharing icon with Chakra... never thought of that, but kinda weird for TP ability to be on it's own then. Could be the case though. I haven't payed attention to all jobs, but I think the others only get 5 total new abilities, so maybe they wanted to keep that for MNK too. They could have just added a 6th icon for MNK in that picture if they wanted after all. We will know very soon.

The AoE skill action is clearly non-GCD (no skill has a CD, as would happen with a GCD attack). The 2 on the left are probably GCDs, possibly not though.

There's literally nothing in that image that would indicate that they're on the GCD.

It's possible chakra triggers a GCD that's shorter than the usual 2.5 seconds. I know no other skills behave like this, but there are other skills in the game that have unique GCDs like fist of fire/wind/earth only triggering a GCD for those 3 abilities.

the 3 fist abilities for monk are not affected by skill speed/GL and are a 3 second CD, they are simply a shared recast not a separate GCD.

No I didn't take it into consideration since I was just mainly comparing both skills without the buff. So beside the new skillz were all getting fr mnk. Are there anything else like May be increase potency on our other WS? Or lower cool down for like HF?

Well, our DoTs indirectly get a buff due to the skill speed fix... But I doubt our current WS will get any buffs. Monks already put out a hefty sum of damage with 'low' potency WS... Of course, that is also due to our natural steroids of Fists of Fire and Greased Lightning. Still, I think monk is in a good spot for the expansion, and the skills will be just what we need.
