    New Monk in PVP

Hey Guys! I've decided to try out PvP and decided on running on in with my MNK. Does anyone have any ideas as to what abilities I should get and what gear I should purchase with my wolfmarks? Any advice would be helpful. My monk is currently ilvl90 xD

There is only one type of gear to get and that is the gear designated for Monk. You should use "twink" gear for 30/40 bracket.. look up the gear twinking thread in this sub forum.

Yes use twink gear in lvl40 bracket because you hate fighting 'twinks' in lvl50. A better world starts with yourself.

Unfortunately monk doesnt have a lot of the cool stuff that he gets at 50 (silence, perfect balance + internal release, one ilm punch) so if you spam that you might have to really re-learn at 50. But its not as bad as say a MRD that cant even holmgang.
Just keep those fists of wind up, and walk through people while you chase them so you can actually hit them. If they suddenly turn around you just got outplayed and must spend seconds running back losing GL stacks and doing no dmg so prepare for that. Also virtually any CC is going to cost you over 20% of your dmg unless you use a 3 minute cooldown that you must grind pvp for and can use once a fight while also being a pacify needing to be kept to save your healer. Good times.
Arm of the Destroyer is nice to use on a healer that seems to perform his job on the corner.

Oh ye get purify, invigorate from lancer, 60 sec cd weapon throw and 9 sec pacify on axe kick. After that a fetter ward trait or 2 to get 10 seconds, helps with stacking GL at the start of the fight.
