It makes sense from a solo aspect. To win a battle you need to drop a mobs hp while keeping yours at a healthy level (amazing). CON and THM are able to do that well enough alone. And as far as partying is concerned, I've played CON in groups and generally everyone at least has Cure II, so I'd probably just go afk if there was nothing else in my bag o tricks. I do like the ability to solo on magic classes though and I believe that was their intent, as much fun as sleep>nuke>rest 5 minutes is in XI..

Of course this wont really apply going forward, and I have no idea how they will handle specializing the magic world for skillful group play, but I am not a game developer so will just have to wait and see!
