Graphics card crash? FFXIV moves to toolbar

Not sure if this is addressed somewhere else, but every half hour for myself and just about every 5 minutes for my friend, FFXIV gets thrown on the task bar and then it gets brought back up as if nothing happened. It's very inconvenient, people die, and I sometimes die. o.o; Any suggestions or is this something that can be addressed? I have everything on the lowest settings as well, and we have plenty of CPU available.

something causing you to loose focus on the game (something in the systray giving a popup, or something running in the background causing issues)? Accidentally Hitting the Windows button (the one to side of space bar with the Windows Logo)? Alt-Tab?

Could be a lot of things going on. Usually a GPU reset will either cause the game to crash completely from loss of a key DX element, or it sort of pauses and black-screens or something for a few seconds--sometimes the screen gets highly corrupted as a side effect. If it is just getting minimized and then coming back, that sounds like something in the background is swapping focus back and forth to the desktop layer, or the user is accidentally swapping back and forth somehow (could even be a key binding issue with a controller, who knows).

Might have similar problem. Just filed mine here.

To summarize, I'm using Nvidia GPU 560 GTX, and latest driver did cause this problem. Friend did find out that 500 series are indeed affected by this problem.
Reinstalling previous driver did stop this problem, but I did notice quite significant performance boost on latest driver though.
