Game latency issue - Siren

The problem is this: Until this morning most of my problems with lag on the game happened at really short bursts, once or twice a week. nothing strange at all. however, today afternoon i came back from lunch to discover that aside from crafting and gathering playing is more or less impossible due to latency. just casting sprint is taking 6 or 7 seconds just to start working after the cast bar finishes, same with talking with npcs or doing anything that requires the server to respond.

I asked but none of my friends from my FC had any latency whatsoever (one of those is on the same city / ISP as me). i tried to use a different char on another data center and the latency was gone. same with a different char on the same data center but on a different world. I appears as if its something on my avatar.

I have tried to restart both the computer and the client to no avail. i also did a speed test on my internet but it shows what its supposed to.

If there is any more information i can provide, please let me know and thanks in advance.

Could be something going on with the specific path to that particular server, or the current load just on that server. SE has a maintenance planned to address issues with specific servers they had been investigating since Wednesday. May be something to do with what they will be addressing Monday/Tuesday with the maintenance.
