I think it's much more likely, given the "simultanious release", that we won't see anything until the end, or near the end of the tour. So I wouldn't get your hopes up for at least a few more days (possibly as many as a full week).

さて欧米メディアツアーが始まっております。
先日吉田Pがコメントしていたとおり、ツアーで紹介されるあれこれは
全世界同時にドバっと公開になる予定なので、そちらをお待ちいただきますが、
フォーラムをご覧頂いている皆さん向けに舞台裏などをご紹介したいと思います

…というわけで、現在スクエニのLAオフィスでツアーに向けた打ち合わせ中です。
が、ちょっと前の写真を1つご紹介。



飛行機に乗る前の成田での空港ラウンジでのヒトコマです。
ノートPCを広げたと思ったら何か音がするな……と思ったら、VPN経由で
開発サーバーに接続して、最新データをチェックしていましたよ。
（これ映像じゃなくて実機で確認しているのです）

今後も心と体に余裕がある限り、あれこれお伝えしてみたいと思います
心なしか開発ブログとかぶっている感じもしますが気にしない！

Anyways the image is YoshiP checking new data's while he was at Narita Airport inside a lounge connecting through VPN.
Foxclon saying it's not a movie but actually checkign the game itself. They're going to post these type of background stuff for the forum people while they are on the tour

Mocchi's posted a response to that one.

本件については、仰られているとおり、あたり判定によって雰囲気がでてくる面はあると思います。
一方で、プレイする上での快適さを考慮した場合には、あたり判定がないほうが良かったりもします。
このあたりのどちらを優先させるかは個々の好みに分かれるところでもありますが、
今回はプレイする上での快適さを優先し、あたり判定は無くすことにしました。
そして、NPCの魅力という点では、以下のような演出をしていくことで
より魅力的に映るよう努めていますので、そういった部分も含めてご期待いただければと思います。
Regarding this one like you said by adding collision detection it will give more live feeling.
However when looking for better playing environment it's better without collision. For will vary player to player but this time we have prioritized to bring more confortable playing environment therefore we decided not to put in the collision.
As for features to stand out the NPC's more we have mentioned previously (previous rep post talking about wandering NPC's, NPC with chat bubbles.) So please look forward to those.

Regarding market

リテイナー直接購入で他国のリテも見て購入出来ると便利だなーと思うのですが・・・
現状ウルダハに集中しているリテイナーも分散出来そうですし・・・
他国の物が買えるなら手数料払ってもいいかもと思ってみたり。。。
Would be nice if you could buy other cities retainer item from direct buy feature...
This can spread out the retainers all focused in Ul'dah area currently...
I also would pay handling charge when buying things from other country...

新生版でのマーケットは、eleさんにご提案いただいたとおりの仕様をこちらでも想定しています。
つまり、出品された地域に関わらず全ての出品物を閲覧・購入することができ、
他の地域で出品された物を購入する場合は、手数料が発生するようになる予定です。
For ARR market, like you suggested, we also have in mind about this feature.
You will be able to view/buy every item no matter if it's from other regions.
When buying items from other region, we are planning to impose a handling fee.

Someone Crucis asked after this rep post to not make it like current one where you have to check each individual cities market via menu to look for one item. But show a list of items with all regions mixed in. Original request to rep was basically same thing imo but making sure reps understand what we're asking for.

No he's not, he just doesn't make statements as often as Triairy.

Triairy is with Yoshi-P and co. at the moment so that's probably why Mocchi is stepping in for the rep responses. He also hosted the 25th Anniversary show that Yoshi-P was at with Soken and the other developers.

To all you people still going school, do your best and learn as much as you guys can.
Get the job you guys dreamed of, and never give up trying to get that job.

Don't be like me and give up half way and later on trying to get back up, it's not as easy. Specially after being married and having kids makes that 100x harder LOL. Feeling like "what the hell am I doing here at job" everyday isn't good.
You guys have a lot more chance than me or others who got on the same boat as me. (I know you guys are out there w)

Anyways that's what I wanted to say after watching Uchyuu Kyoudai... LOL
