FFVIII Balamb Garden Student/Seed Uniforms... <Can I Have It.>!!!!!

We require a wardrobe/outfit system, because I find it lame to have outfits just for the sake of RP lovers or some random shenanigans outside of battle. I want to wear my cool duds into battle!

I didn't say anything about RPing, I just though it would be a nice addition... I personally don't RP but if we ever do see SeeD gear in game and ppl RP in them.... Hey, to each their own..

Maybe if FFVIII is remade as a PS4 title or something, but until then, I'm sorry to say, don't hold your breath.

Because Lightning and Snow's outfits so fit in with Eorzea right? And having something added as a shameless marketing ploy is so much better than appealing to fans of your franchise?

FFVIII's SeeD uniforms are military uniforms. I don't see how they would be any less fitting for the game than GC or Garlean military uniforms.

Like I said, that's the only reason the FFXIII event was held - it's to advertise the launch of Lightning Returns which is released in the US and Europe next week - it had nothing to do with fanservice. Otherwise there's little financial incentive to bother with the expense in labour costs to model such outfits into the game. Besides, I think players are getting sick of crossover events and just want FFXIV to stand on it's own merits. A little fanservice here and there is fine, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Also considering it was asked here a while ago whether SE would be adding a simillar FFX/X-2 crossover event to ARR to coincide with the FFX/X-2 PS4 rerelease, and SE actually categorically stated 'no'. So it makes a FFVIII event seem even more likely.

Let's just wait and see man, I'd hope they are adding these outfits SINCE THEY ARE ADDING A VANITY SYSTEM.. I'll be rocking my speedo until some modern outfits are added.

We could wait and see. Sure it doesn't look eorzean but it does look like a high-mid ranking garlean ceremony uniform and we've already stolen clothes from them atleast once. This has nothing to do with the fact that FF8 is my personal favourite
