My current BiS. the massive drop in SS usefulness has caused our BiS to change drastically, meaning that currently, no one is really sure what's the overall best. And, as always, opinion will CONTINUE to play a huge factor. However, there is no denying that your biggest goal (after acc cap) should be to get a lot of DET

My proposed BiS Pre Turn 5. These sets are assuming you use the food provided.
First set is slightly better than the second.
(Note: You need 480ish Acc for the snakes during the Twintania fight, any other and you can cut a lot off.)

Quick question, you claim this is a "pre-T5" build yet you include the bracelets of maiming, a turn 5 drop. Not sure if it's a typo but might wanna consider something else. A pre-turn 5 build should be items BEFORE turn 5 right? Or am I wrong.

(Unsure if I should report this as a bug, because spell speed is necessarily more powerful than skill speed.)

I believe so, in which case I believe changing the belt to the hero belt would be a better option as it gives you more acc and allows you to use buttons in blanket HQ which gives great stats. Also don't forget to stack to stack on them STR potions as its great for zerg times XD

With diet becoming even more important due to the upgrade to GL I'm personally aiming for the second set in that list with the only change being the belt so I don't need ACC food but can go full on DD food.

Third equipment set

1000 character limit? Really?

I know this is somewhat of a necro at this point, but I found a combination that (according to these stat weights) ends up better by a bit, and this seems to be the most quoted post/thread when it comes to Monk BiS.

+163 crit, +124 det, +15 skill speed, 473 Accuracy

Another (my favorite) upside is that Buttons are much easier to farm than Deviled eggs. For the unlucky/poor man, trading out the neck and wrists for Hero's gear still ends up marginally better than the quoted set.
