    Where to go now?

First off, I know about camps, leves/behest and so forth. I'm not looking to be pointed to which leves to do or where to hang out for a behest.

My LS has had the most fun going into pure SP grind parties on chain pulling mobs, just like FFXI. People seem to shun this because they don't have any clue how good it can be, and haven't taken any initiative to find the right mobs. I take afternoons scouring for the perfect mobs that give the best SP... I've found many awesome spots that aren't on any guides, that very few people seem to be aware of.

I've also seen posts about killing Coblyns, Crabs, etc with 2 or 3 people.... I want solid 3-400+ mobs, that go down relatively quickly in a full party of 8 - approximately lvl 30 players.

    Examples:

At 20-25, we did the soldiers (lvl 30) in Cassiopea Hollow getting 400+ SP while other groups did crabs for 2-300. We also took some alts and did gnats (lvl 30) in Mun Tuy for about the same. The exp we get is just as good, if not better than behest/leve mobs, and we can pull waaay faster. We couldn't help but scratch our heads as to why people were trying to level on Puks and Crabs when the lower-level gnats/soldiers were sooo much better.

At 25-30, we have been doing Cursed Eyes (lvl 35) in Nanawa and Wights (lvl 35) in Mun Tuy, started at over 400 SP per kill, tapered down to the high 200s by 30. Again, while watching people waste their time on Coblyns and ladybugs.

And don't try to convince me on the kill rate. We killed stuff just as fast as the people on the weaker mobs.

What's the next place to party? If you have been in a real grind party (8 members) who has taken the time to find the right mobs with the right SP modifiers, please chime in. If you and a buddy killed Coblyns for 5 hours straight I don't want to hear about it. Coblyns, Crabs, and so forth have a lower base EXP than other mobs. I'm looking for 100-150 base SP mobs (ie, Eyes, Wights, Soldiers, Salamanders, Bombs, etc). I'm sure there are other types that give the great base SP bonus.

I've heard Elfts in Mistbeard Cove are good, as well as Imperials in Mor Dhona. Does anyone here have some real SP party experience at these levels? Having a close proximity to leves/behests is ideal. We like to pepper in the leves etc while we grind.

Just to note, it seem like the mobs with a "set" lvl grant better SP than the ones that have a lvl range. Example, the lvl 35 Wights in Mun Tuy give remarkably better EXP/SP than the Magicked Bones and other skeletons in Nanawa that are 36-39. Same with the lvl30 gnats in Mun Tuy compared to the lvl 35-39 gnats in Nanawa.

The level 35 Wights and Cursed Eyes also give much better exp than the Ants in Copperbell, which are higher level mobs, 36-39 again I believe.

You should do this thing called not being an ass.

If I hadn't searched I wouldn't be asking. You don't always find each and every associated thread. This is why I don't use forums.

    Just forget it.

    (If you're still around)
And if you're talking about grind parties specifically, efts (treespeak, mistbeard, etc) in the 30s and velociraptors (coerthas) in the 40s seem to be the most popular, at least from what I notice in shouts.

Most tend to stick to the 80k+ leve parties on resets however, including myself. =/

Oh, and most people don't grind on quest mobs like Cursed Eyes because their respawn time is horrendous, but suited for the quests they're involved with.

If you fancy some fresh air, I recommend the goblins slightly NW of treespeak. Respawns aren't too bad (and there is virtually no competition), and there's lemurs to kill time with in between pops if you want some filler foes. The game considers them around r43 if I remember right, but their terribly low hp, defense, weak tp moves, and evasion, would say otherwise. and they drop cookies

    anyways, happy hunting~

Rank 39-44 - The Peistes by Bluefog - i believe it is Mountain Peiste, there is also 25 spawns near the bridge by Camp Glory, like all Peistes, the spawn rate is slow, it might support 3-5 member pt. SP was 350-420.

Rank 43-47 - Diremites(not Dwarfs) by Bluefog - tonnes of spawns, might be close to 30 spawns, and repop is pretty moderate, supports 2-3 member pt. SP was 280-320

All of these were killed in less than 30 sec.
