Make a copy of it before doing so because he will lose actions bar configuration by doing this.

Na, that's windows fix. There must be a way in PS3.

Thanks guys, all I needed to do was delete that corrupted save file.. got back on the game after I deleted it and the game pulled up just fine. I lost my configuration settings and everything, but WAY better than losing my progress!
