Unable to create character config data.

My game froze up mid-play on my PS3, so I turned it off and tried to get back on, now every time I try to log in I get, "Unable to create character config data." Please help, I can't play...
It froze while the game was saving, and now my PS3 says that save file is corrupt. So, will I have to delete this character and restart from scratch? If so, I kind of want my money back.. I thought everything was saved onto their servers.

I think the PS3 is just trying to load corrupted local settings.
I don't know if it creates multiple files for the game and one for each char. Try deleting the smaller ones first. If it doesn't work you might need to delete them and reinstall the game.
The char is on the server so you are safe

PS3 (as well as PC indeed) has the separate save subfolder with own icon for each character. Just try to copy it out to USB stick and delete it and then start game again.

Thanks guys, all I needed to do was delete that corrupted save file.. got back on the game after I deleted it and the game pulled up just fine. I lost my configuration settings and everything, but WAY better than losing my progress!

Good to hear that you've got that fixed. While the config data loss might be a bit PITA as long as progress is kept on game servers no real damage hear. Remember to backup you game data saves regularly.
