    I so hope this thread gets a reply. This is one of the most bothersome things about this game to me. If they don't replace our current regions I hope they make some real breathtaking places to the north past Ishgard. So far the only areas i really like to be in are Coerthas and Mor Dhona.

    Can't wait for the real adventure of explroring/fighting my way through really amazing areas to come

    While true that they are nice to be in, I think it is mostly due to the fact that they are a nice change from the same 3 starting zones. But if you were in that zone all the time, maybe it would start to be the same problem as thanalan, Black Shroud and La Noscea... I mean by that that the whole zone is still pretty much the same wherever you are (from what I saw). It's still a very big zone with the same stuff all over. All the zones need to be broken down in sub-zones and designed differently (while still blending in nicely) so that each part feels like a new experience when tou reach it.

    They also need to get rid of that tunnel/linear way of designing the zones and make them more open in general.

    One little thing though, I need the list (of images) and instructions on how to hyperlink because I'm not savvy with all the forum functions

    Just copy paste the URL. It will automatically turn it into a link. If you are using the WYSIWYG editor, it might mess it up, though, so paste the URLs first, then add in text formatting later.

    come on SE, take a note from your first REAL MMO, you had done it so well there, even the zones you grow to hate, you still love (im looking at you Dunes)

    3 things that can make this game, or most any MMO feel brand new are 1) the world 2) the combat 3) the advancement/class system. They have 2 of them being worked on, and i think it will do well, but they still have one and possibly the hardest to go, lets hope after over 330 posts this gets a little attention.

    @Siobu again, I've added the image: http://seahorror.com/sample.jpg
    Are there more? And would you like any commentary/notes before the link?

    It works great. Thank you, Eden.

    I hope they inspire even more posters. How much louder must we shout, I wonder?

    When you compare my FF11 map to a real FF11 map, I believe every one realizes it... They recall everything they would have missed in FF11 if they could never leave Sarutabaruta, Gustaberg, or Ronfaure. This is so critical. Critical to have a world.

    It's critical to have progression in FF14.

    I want to look back on 14 with nostalgia of my own.

    watch the dev video "Link"

    We need less barren/exact landscapes and more of those really diverse looking areas and landmarks.
