To be fair, this is a lack of content issue. HM dungeons, CT, and EM Primals is where you should be able to use that gear outside of coil.
no, you got my reply wrong. My reply is aimed to the idea to synch gear in inferior dungeons 50. Why i should work my ass to get an allagan weapon if i can use it full fully only in coil and then synch it in WP at the level of a ilvl 55 weapon ? For the same reasons, when they'll release superior weapons, they'll get synched outside content aimed for that ilvl. It completely destroy the idea at the base to obtain loot: becoming stronger just to find yourself weak as before.
No I got it, my point was, you shouldn't still want to do WP if you have an Allagan weapon, you're past that point in the gear progression. Its just that there isn't that much after WP, and because we're 35 ilevels higher than the content we can run all run it in 15m or less making it more efficient than.. well.. AK, which is the only other dungeon at the moment.
Even if i had an allagan weapon and i am after that part of progression, doesn't mean i don't want do it ever again. I could do it to equip a second class with that gear or with myth, for relic, for money, because i want...hell, i plan to do dzemael for coliseum gear which i am after since 1.23.No I got it, my point was, you shouldn't still want to do WP if you have an Allagan weapon, you're past that point in the gear progression. Just because i passed over the progression, don't mean i should forgot of them. I'm totally ok with level synching in lower dungeons, i don't feel the need to synch my gear in content 50, nor i think it would help something. This is just another attempt to kill speedruns (which i hate, but i don't try to stop people doing them. I just queue in df)

I already suggested the same, but i guess i will need to bump my topic.
It is not that we find it fun to faceroll WP/CM/PRAE/AK with our iLvl 90 weapons, it is that the game encourages/forces us to. Both WP and AK drops myth which we need to gear up and PRAE/CM our FC members need help with and/or we farm them for Philo.
Most of us do not find facerolling a dungeon the 100.000.000.000th time we do it funny, but what we would find even less fun would be getting the gear we worked to get the other 99.999.999.999 times synced down making our 100.000.000.000th run as hard as our first run. That would make us feel like we did not progress at all.
So much nope.
We need a challenge mode system that utilizes ilvl syncing and actually puts to use the utterly idiotic timer. It'd make for a fun diversion, with some nice vanity/cosmetic/bragging rights rewards.

The truth is that no matter how much ilvl sync is hated, it is the only way to solve some issues. The purpose of getting better gear should be:
1. Helping to tacke more demanding encounters.
2. Getting better score on "infinite content" which purpose is "world's best", not "world's first".
3. Maybe some open world content, but rewards have to be contributon-based, not claim-based.
NOT farming things faster. Facerolling instance dropping ilvl 55-60 gear with ilvl 70-90 gear to get ilvl 90 items is bad by design.

ilevel sync would also help stifle this attitude of "raiders get gear and I want it too!".
If someone doesn't plan on participating in content that requires high level gear, ilevel sync will ensure that they don't want, need, or feel entitled to have it.
ilevel sync is one of things we need but we don't want. It would help the overall health of the game and the player base, as well as allow more meaningful rewards to all new dungeons in the future as well.
