its not a guide per say.. but here is a video of me and my friends.. I am SCH and this video will show you how i have my bars setup and how i use them..

cross hotbar is not enough and switching sets can trip you up.. so make bars 1 2 3 and 4 visible in the character menu.. i then make bar 3 and 4 shared which means they dont change when my class changes and put all my emote macros, recruitment, menu buttons and minions/mounts on there..

ctrl and alt bars work even with gamepad

edit.. all my damage and dot spells are macro set to

/micon "Name"
/ac Name <t>
/ac Name <tt>

that way you can use them while targetting the tank or tartgetting a mob
