    Duty Finder Penalty Timer Bug

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...er-window-open

As we can see this was 'accepted' almost a month ago, any plans to actually fix it?

    1) you posted this in the wrong section
    2) "accepted' only means a complete, investigat-able bug report was submitted. It does NOT mean "yes, we acknowledge this is a bug."
    3) as far as I can tell, its a display bug only, i have also never seen this happen myself, despite the submitter saying it happens "always."

Were you on the class/job that you abandoned the duty on during that whole time? Timer does not tick down unless you're on that class/job

I did not change classes I was sitting in town chatting with LS. I even logged out and back in as suggested as it is a 'display bug' only with no change.

I left a Titan HM as it was a horrific group and no one wanted to leave first so I took the penalty and was first to leave. I was back in town and started chatting with friends in one of my LS's, I then checked the window after about 30-40 minutes and it said '15 minutes'. I closed the duty finder and continued to chat with people then proceeded to go afk for a few to change a load of laundry and feed the cats when I came back opened the duty finder and it was '14 minutes'. I logged out and back in and it was at 12 minutes. The timer continued apparently while I was out of the game and relaunching however once I was back in the game the only way the timer would remain active was to have the Duty finder open.

This is not the first time this has happened and I can reproduce it on a regular basis.
