The woes of being gil spammed

So, I picked up the game for the first time a few weeks ago. Was happily murdering small rodents and fetching odds and ends when BAM! spam after spam of buy! buy! buy! buy gil! I tried clicking on the name, nope no options there, tried using /ignore Goldceo xxxxx nope unknown command, then i took a few minutes to figure out how to shout and asked the community for help. In between the wall of SPAM, i managed to read something called a blacklist. Another 10 minutes figuring out it was under the social tab...and finally i can silence the damn spammers. I've been playing for about 2 weeks now and i have over 50 names on my blacklist...this epidemic is slowly driving me away from FF14. I thought if I got a P2P game that I could avoid goldfarmer spam or at least have a quick way and efficient way of dealing with them

There suddenly a big flock of Goldceo name everywhere all of a sudden. They always whisper you every damn 5 minutes, get really annoying. You block one name, then the next Goldceo with a different last name whisper you again.

Its like logging on to play the blacklist game to see who can fill up their list the fastest. Do something about this rodents SE, or they will invade your whole building and ruins your game. They are spreading like wildfire.

They said that they are doing something and working on releasing hotfixes/patches to update the game and take action against bots (they also have their STF, or "Special Task Force" assigned to deal with RMTers and, in general, hackers). As for the right-click blacklist feature, they said they're planning to release it in 2.1.

The development team has been working on the implementation of the right click to blacklist feature, and is planning to implement it in patch 2.1.

While I get the occasional goldceo tell, I find it amazing that I don't get them from any other spammers, and I haven't seen a shout in weeks. I know SE has been working on it, but wow.

They need to increase the cap on blacklist too, I'm up to 170 out of 200.
