Lucky you for never having lag or lag spikes.
Been working through issues with my ISP, had problems during peak time, and they've completed the traffic priority upgrade. It's now OK most days, but there have been times it's so bad I will be dead on everyones screen (verified on teamspeak) but alive and standing on mine for a full 15-20 seconds, instacast plumes on titan, invisible bosses etc. Oh fun one is when titan starts turning just before a landslide and stops, you know landslide is coming even though it's not showing, but titan is locked on an angle so it's safe to assume that's where it's going to come? Nope, then it suddenly show with no cast bar and instantly knock back.
But I wouldn't suggest the difficulty should be adjusted because of it, it's fine when I'm not lagging. Trouble is you can be fine in city and lagging in instance, so now I'll test with a sprint when I get in... if it takes 3-4 seconds for the echo back from the server and the status effect to appear then I know it's pointless trying titan.
I don't think it needs a nerf, I'm doing the logical thing which is working through the issues with my ISP, sending tracerts, and warning people in game if it's a bad evening. (I'm on 70 meg FTTC with traffic priority addons etc, it's really not a general problem with my connection, just this particular route is having trouble, and going on a 22-25 hop doubling back route). They have another week or two to get it fixed or I'll pay the early termination and I'll switch ISP.
Lag denial and saying that anyone who has lag issues can't dodge is as bad as blaming camera angle.
