    Ideal Materia slotting for level 50 weaver

    I'm curious as to what everyone's suggestions would be in regards to slotting materia on an HQ set of level 50 weaver gear.

    In your experience, what gets the most bang for the buck?

    Does IV materia come from breaking down AF gear? Prices on these are just so outrageous.

    Yeah, it has a rare chance to pop out of any of the iLvl55 crafting gear (except for Aetheryte Rings). I'm not sure if you can get it from the iLvl48/50 gear.

    Eh?! Really? But I saw one player converted an Aetheryte Ring and got Dexterity IV out of it.

    Didn't get a chance to screenshot it coz I thought it was normal.

    Sorry, I meant that you can't get crafting materia out of the Aetheryte Rings. You can indeed get T4 materia, just not useful ones for DoH classes.

    Wait, so you can get Tier IV materia from i55 gear? That's great to know. I've got 3 crafting classes that I've just made the i55 gear for. I'm trying to follow the advice of that thread - but I need between 3-6 tier IV Craftsmanship materia total (1-2 for each of the 3 chest pieces, depending on which method I use). On my server there's only 1 for sale. For 500k.

    It's painfully rare, but yes, that's where they come from. I spiritbonded a full set of ALC AF/offhand/accessories/etc. and only wound up with a single T4.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't help that it takes over 300 lv50 synths to fully spiritond unmelded HQ iLvl55 DoH gear. So that's why it's so darn expensive.

    Huh. Good to know. I guess I have to decide if it's worth the 2 Craftsmanship points for all that hassle.
