I think we need some dev response to one of these threads. EXP chains were a very good mechanic in both FF11 & FF12.

The only reason I see them not implementing it or delaying it would be due to them wanting players to get experience from another source.

I imagine they intend leves to be the best source of SP, and perhaps they're afraid of improving world SP too much.

I don't agree with the exact specific of the OP's post, but... there is a problem with progression right now.

Leves ultimately are too similar and they get boring and repetetive when you can do them 8 times in a 36 hour period. While, world XPing can be even worse if there aren't enough camps/diverse monsters to support this mode of SPing.

But really there needs to be an explanation on how the devs are planning on designing the level up period of gameplay, so we can then give good feedback.
