300 tomes later, Still no primal weapon.

Seriously SE, What's up with this? I've wasted 4 evenings just trying to get a decent weapon for starting endgame on bard and you still can't just throw me a bone? No, I don't want an overpriced crafted weapon. The droprate stinks, I'm extremely sick of looking at ifrit and Garuda, I know the fights by heart with my eyes closed, and spamming Titan isn't rewarding enough to be worth it unless it's for my relic which I can't get unless I have a decent weapon for Titan which I also can't get because I am here wasting my evenings farming a Primal weapon off easy fights. I've capped mythology trying for these stupid weapon(s) Token system please. Or two weapon crates at least.

If you come into a thread with just an intent to piss off someone who didn't even post an offensive thread, or insult you in any way, let alone even knows you, you really need to find something better to do with yourself. I am sad for you.

The best GC weapon will suffice for Titan. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Ifrit is barely better.

Primal weapons are meant to be something of a crapshoot that can keep players repeating content they would have otherwise long given up doing.

...On an unrelated note, I won Ifrit's Bow on a greed lot.

My thoughts exactly. The difference between one point of MND or DET isn't going to break the bank at that level. There are other issues to iron out if the group is failing.

Sir the only one getting upset here is you. You say I want a weapon right away? How was my post whining? I am stating an obvious flaw in their loot methods. Please get over yourself. I think the fact that I've farmed 300 myth off just primals pretty much states I did my time. Have a nice day.

GC weapon definitly is fine for Titan.

RNG is random. You'll get it.

U think you had it rough ? I've farmed garuda hm over 1200 tomes and it only drops 15 philosophy a run that's over 80 clearance runs and I still have not seen one pld sword drop for my pld. I've seen every weapon thus far besides the sword.

Maybe you love mindless, boring grinds but most everyone else doesn't, sorry to say.

No exaggeration here, it took me 30 "WINNING" fights before I ever seen one SMN book drop. Then I switched to SCH and it only took an additional four wins before I got my SCH book. After, I leveled BLM to 50 and fought Ifrit 10 times and got my BLM weapon. Keep in mind these fights are the amount of times I've actually won, it does not include the massive amount of times when I got put with new players to the fight in the duty finder who don't understand mechanics and of course die and then rage quit.

The RNG gods have always hated me. I think I'll just keep crafting until they institute a token system for the primals. I really do not want to get burned out by the RNG gods in this game. I really enjoy it so far!

Not necessarily. Random means that it's entirely within the realms of possibility that I would NEVER get one. I feel the OP's pain.

Everyone knows the ignorance involved in the design of the primal weapon drops, took me 61 runs JUST FOR my warrior axe, and that is 61 kills, not including failed runs where party dispersed.

Only time you see the weapon in the group if there are two or more of your class in that party. And of course the other guy always wins it.

I've had a WHM get upset that I was wearing "greens" on HM Garuda. I chuckled at this, because my "greens" are actually the best-crafted "greens" truly available (without buying tome mats), materia'd with stats that make them far superior for Dragoon DPS than Darklight. I wanted to say, "What? Should I be wearing my level 45/50 class set so it's color doesn't appear "green" and make you think it's bad gear?" But it really wasn't worth it. If they didn't know the quality of the best crafted gear and the stat distribution between DL and crafted, explaining it to them would have just wasted everyone's time.

This game has barely been out a month and you're complaining that you still don't have some of the best gear in the game? And you think you absolutely need it for some reason?

I want it so I can start endgame... you know, it's part of the game I'm trying to play... exactly how slow do you want everyone to play? Are you waiting for next update when they gimp coil to EZMODE? I want to experience it on my bard before that happens thanks! And just a heads up, they aren't the best in the game. I'm not even asking much, hell, I'd be happy with ifrit's bow.

i think its good as it, something you actually have to strive for but is not completely unobtainable. Basically your OP goes to show, no matter what decision SE makes, someone will be unhappy. I'm sorry that this time, it was you.

Not to sound rude but go play FFXI and try camping an NM for weeks in hopes you manage to claim the mob you might get the random drop you want from. Reason I say this is throughout the development of FFXIV people constantly complained things are too easy to get and too casual, even today people complain that its too easy to get primal weapons.

I think its good as it is, something you actually have to strive for but is not completely unobtainable. Basically your OP goes to show, no matter what decision SE makes, someone will be unhappy. I'm sorry that this time, it was you.

I do feel for you though, I'm lv 45 now and I havent gotten a drop from a dungeon for my WAR since Brayflox... its all friggen PLD gear and I dont like the PLD.
