If you could do 5 things...

If you could do give things, nomatter how big, small, unrealistic, weird... what would you change?

(This was made to be fun; so let's try to keep it that way.)

For me in order of preference:
1. Transfers
2. Party size increased to 6
3. More xp for dungeons
4. Fate raids (very very difficult, require 50+ people) implemented and requires zone-wide activities
5. Character customizations like name change, race change and vanity slots!

Number 2, do you mean party size decreased to 6? I'm asking because a full party is 8 members.

1) Stop the server from accepting ANY packets the client sends
2) Put a limit on the amount of repeating messages a player can do
3) More loot on trash (or more chests)
4) Make loot that isn't usable by members in your party (whether no class or they already have it) not drop
5) Create more top end instances

1. Magically stop all RMT and related individuals from ever being able to log into the game. They can buy the game and pay as much subscription time as they want, but they'd never be able to log in.

2. Can't think of anything else. I'd say something about the new buzz word 'toxic players' but I'd rather humanity fix itself on its own. :p

1) implement a system in which toxic behavior in DF is reprimanded which can't be abused
2) make other leveling options equal to fate grinding
3) Quests which don't show up on maps & don't tell you what you need to do next with interesting rewards.
4) give the crafters a more defined role in the game such as player repairs.
5) add things that promotes healthy community interaction

1. Dominion based trading card game set in the Final Fantasy world. (see: Dominion the card game)
2. Solo, randomly generated dungeons. (See: Binding of Issac)
3. An Engineering class to build airships.
4. A PvP arena for Airships/Engineering class. (See: Guns of Icarus)
5. A PvP MOBA arena. (See: Smite)

I like my games to be within my games. :p

1) Allow players to repair other people's gear. I miss offering free repairs to my groups before/after dungeons.
2) Display the character's name, not the retainer in the market board. I don't want to unknowingly support RMT/botters.
3) TOKEN SYSTEM for primal drops. I don't want it to be easy, I really don't, but I also don't appreciate the fact that I might NEVER, no matter how many times I successfully run content, get the drop that I want.
4) Bring back 1.0 inertia (and just to make everyone happy, bring back the butts)
5) Make high level crafting materia obtainable with fewer tomestones. Ridiculous that crafted gear costs more in tomestones for materials than darklight

2.) FATES ( Scale it to how many is doing the FATES itself. The more people, the harder it become. )
3.) Right Click option to Blacklist
4.) Banned ALL RMT + Mute Player who Shout too fast too many at once. ( 30 Minutes to 1 Hours )
5.) Fantasia Potion allow name Changed.

That 5, but other change I want to see as well is...
6.) Vanity Slot like Rift System
7.) Allow Inventory Slot to open all at once for large size Resolution Monitor.
8.) When Scale up the UI, it does not become blurry.
9.) Bring back the skills effect from 1.0
10.) Bring back the music from 1.0

1. Triple Triad
2. Hidden chests/treasure that randomly spawns in the world (hope that's what they mean by treasure hunting)
3. More uniqueness in mounts beyond cosmetics.
4. Race questlines
5. Make the birthdate/guardian actually mean something worthwhile.

No. Dungeon and mob balance in dungeons -- including boss mechanics -- are balanced around 1 tank, 1 heal, 2 dd. Changing these up means that in many cases substantive alterations of mechanics would have to be present. This includes, but is not limited to, room size, spawn number and frequency, damage output, health, and move sequences. As an example, on the boss Demon Wall, you are given a narrow bridge and a clock to kill him, two gnat spawns, and the rate of wall advancement is pretty quick even though one has to deal with gnats and advancement. Changing these up to "balance" around a particular setup and gear-equivalency, and still be challenging, would require more substantive work than just upping numbers and whatnot. Every dungeon would have to be changed.

Some, not all, are not very efficient for leveling (e.g., Haukke Manor), though many (e.g., the first three) are. You'd have to find some evidence where dungeon experience is slacking and bring it up to par, or where the game is not providing enough options to make up for the slack. With Haukke, there is a large series of story quests involved, and taking these into account is likely why the dungeon is so sparing on experience. Svara, Behemoth, Odin, Dark Designs, Highbridge. There are several "raid-like" FATEs, but they act as either FATE chains, or mechanical monstrosities. Love them. There are also Cancer, Lazy Lawrence, Steropes, and the Negotiators>Hide & Seek>The Coeurl King FATE chain in South Shroud, along with the defense/breach of the Hive. These involve special mechanical "big" bosses with their own "big boss" music.

Vanity slots are confirmed, though not for when. Phials of Fantasia will do everything else you need, and one is available to you as soon as you subscribed for one or more months. (You really shouldn't need to keep using one -- use the character creator and save a character model for yourself and tweak it until you LIKE it, then when you get a Phial, load that model for your redesign.)

No limits on changes?

Well then:

• Change world from Eorzea to Ivalice (adjust lore, landscape and story as much as is necessary to facilitate the change)
  
• Change races from FFXI versions to - Moogle (Ivalice style), Viera, Bangaa, Hume, Nu Mou. - add Gria and Seeq as well.
• Scrap current job/class system, introduce tiered job tree closely resembling the one in Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
• Heavily scale back the flash and VFX in the game and then reintroduce it very slowly as the cap is raised.
• Rename FFXIV:ARR to Final Fantasy Online II (SE should then make an offline game set in Eorzea for FFXIV and all future MMO games would be FFO:III, FFO:IV, etc..)

Super unrealistic, but it would be a great outline for the next FF MMO.

1) Remove Lalafells as playable race.

2) Make Lalafells as levelling mobs

3) Make Lalafells as Botany and Mining points

4) Make Lalafells as primary base mats to make anything.

5) Remove Gils and replace with Lalafells.

Well, hard to explain evrrything here... how about you follow me back?
I got a few contacts you might me intrested.

1) Basically turn our personal homes (when they become available) into a Harvest Moon type of thing (awkward wording is awkward but for you HM fans I'm sure you know what I mean).

2) DNC - Because! Now stop looking at me like that >.>

3) Fantasia - Obtainable don't care how. Most likely going to happen in one way or another, or can any of the, by then, "Fantasialess" veterans imagine starting fresh as a new race, when they're added, years down the road?

4) A theater - Automated weekly events to sit & enjoy the NPCs retelling the history of Eorzea or (original plays) while eating popcorn (or nibbling on the nearest Lalafell) or just anything for a social event without a real material reward for participating.

5) "Fix" FATE mechanic so it actually becomes interesting and enjoyable, as many FATEs, especially the boss ones, have potential to be fun but currently they all end up being a mindless pressing of random buttons.

Ok I see what you mean. Good idea but would take quite a bit of effort. You would need to overhaul everything because if you just upped the party size without adjusting HP attack power crit, etc for mobs and pc's the game would become extremely easy.

0.) Right click blacklist, sorry this is so easy, it doesn't deserve a spot.
1.) Party size increased to 5. I play tanks and healers, but 2 dps expects too high of a tanking and healing population that's never been represented in any mmo I've ever played.
2.) Buff exp from leveling dungeons, buff rewards from capped dungeons
3.) Add more dungeons.
4.) Make Leves more rewarding.
5.) Take abilities off the GCD that shouldn't be on it and simultaneously get rid of the animation lock.

Good ones.

1- Make dungeon monsters to drop chests with low chances but randomnly with some loot according to both the instance/level.
2- Kick function.
3- If there's Zodiark, why not Belias, Mateus, Fámfrit and the others? I want them ingame!
4- Gunblades. Seriously.
5- Minigames: Triple Triad or Bliztball.
6- Monster playable races: Bangaas or No Mou as previously mentioned.

3. Fix whatever is causing melee to have difficulties with hitting moving targets
4. More variety in high level activities worth doing (not just CM for philo and AK for myth). Could come from improved rewards in existing dungeons like wanderer's palace or through new dungeons.
5. Random loot everywhere from monsters. This one is unrealistic for this game, but I love a huge variety of loot and the chance of striking an amazing item from a random mob Diablo style. Maybe, at least, rare unique item drops from random mobs.

Vote kick.
Being able to get new players in Primal fights in case someone leaves (Why do 7 people have to suffer because of 1 rage quitter?)
DoH's to get a "Set-up-shop"-toggle, making them become a "NPC" that melds for a fee of their choice!
Fat-monster grinding in groups to be extremely viable. AFAIK FFXI had this, so did my first love, Dark Age of Camelot.
More hair styles and a barbershop!

1. I would add the gold saucer mini game area in...like now! This game needs another stress free enviroment that after a bad run or just a bad day irl in general people can go relax play the minigames and earn like tokens for prizes or something haha.
Edit: Did anyone play PSU? The casino area was great in that game.
2. Of course with magical wishes I'd ask for more jobs but I realize that'll be awhile.
3. Monster races.. I agree with this as well..
4. More FATE's .. I realize they are a laggy mess but it gives people a reason to go back to certain areas they love? ok maybe just a reason to go back to other areas in general haha.
5. Black mages able to meteor gil sellers. (If they weren't so aggressive and dirty. They wouldn't bother me as much.)
