2 sch=useless, make adlo stack

We need adlo/succor bubble to stack between 2 sch, right now bringing 2 sch seriously gimps you because their larger potency heal becomes useless with 2, as does their aoe heals

Totally agree with this.

If I cast succor and shield the group, any succor you cast is then nerfed to just a weak heal.

Or implement my idea from another thread.

While I don't think the shields should stack, I do think a change is needed. What the op suggests isn't the way to go, as it solves none of the issues we have atm and ya there is the risk of being exploitable in some way. The suggestion I made would be the better way to go, preserves the uniqueness of the spell while giving us the aoe through put we are lacking AND allowing the continued synergy between WHM and SCH all while allowing 2 SCH to hinder a group no more than 2 WHM's do.

not really exploitable, wouldn't be invincible, if both sch crit everyone the shield might be pretty big, but for bosses like titan one stomp its gone even with 2 of us, it would just allow us to cast during stomp and not both accidently hit at the same time and be screwed because it wastes one of them

And to tune to 24 mans, only allow it to hit 8 targets at a time with shield, but pick the 8 with lowest hp percent

And when I say make it stack I don't mean allow one scholar to chain cast and have multiple bubbles up, I mean each sch should be able to put a bubble on people.

Right now if you bring one sch there is no reason to bring another, if that is only healer lfg, your waiting for a while, but there is no issue with 2 whms, they can keep up just fine.

I think they could make it so the shields stack but not at full efficiency just making it so the first shield is 100% and any other shield is at 50 or 75% absorb.

Stacking shields are pointless. We lack throughput on aoe encounters. We need a healing buff to succor. Make it 300 heal and 150 shield or use my idea of second succor consuming first succors shield and adding it to the healing portion of the second succor. But we are healing class, and we are in need of a healing buff or fix or whatever. We need to be as effective as a whm and currently we are not.

I might be misreading the skill but doesn't surror and aldo only put a shield for the amount healed like if it heals for 600hp you get 600 shield but if it tops someone off at like 200hp it only gives 200 shield so shouldn't shield stacking be fine cause you cant stack on shield before pull because everyone would be at full hp right?

No. It will shield for the heal, including the overheal.

oh really then they should change it so it only shields for hp restored that way surror shield isn't going to waste when using it multiple times in succession and having two scholars wont have wasted shields

That would only worsen the situation. At least now precasting succor will apply a shield to everyone. Currently 1 scholar can precast to top off health and shield and the other can follow up with another to heal and put on another shield for aoe attack.
Same with Adloquium, being able to cast on a full health target for the shield is one of its great uses.

We have Titan down with 2 SCH. L2p.

To expand a bit on what Kirathu has posted.

The FC I am in has killed up to and including turn 4 with two scholars; all server 1st. Is this combo better than 1 WHM and 1 SCH? More than likely not. SCH do have some advantages though that can be used.

Heres a better idea, if target currently has a shield, dont replace the shield rather the healing portion should just be doubled.
