Yes millions of threads, yes I do contribute to those to, but sadly SE only respond to spam and being hit in the face with a wet fish at least 10 times daily before it sinks in.
We all had faith in Yoshi, a lot of us are losing said faith, and FAST. Why? Basic content systems are broken.
Why does only one Dungeon pre Bahamut award a decent amount of Mythology?
Why does it take anywhere from 1hour up to sometimes 2+ to enter that one and only Dungeon even with a full setup of Tank Heals and 2 DPS?!
Why is it Crafted gear thats hard enough to craft requires stupid amounts of mats to make when in reality by time you could have collected those Philo Mats you could have bought Darklight and/or even be raiding Coil by the time you have it?
There are many more issues but this is my thread and I'm posting what annoys me cuz I'm a selfish Lala who doesnt like sharing his food from his plate! Deal with it!
A pretty simple Fix for the Myth issue which I think would likely lessen the load on AK make Myth rewards better from Primals? 4 from Ifrit? Yes that amount is depressing but currently I'm getting better Myth/Hour from him but why not boost it to 10-15?
20-25 Garuda? etc
Sure you may say when people are capped they wont run these anymore, but really a lot arent anyway currently as the rewards are measly.
Or if this is too much like hard work for SE changing a few numbers for their epic coders of doom, more instance's of AK are Required.
If I wanted to pay money to spend the majority of my time in a queue I'd go Disneyland!

A) dungeon quest suck due to the lack of healer and tanks and dps out weighing them that is not yoshi's fault that is player base cant be fixed unless you come out saying your going to heal and tank not dps for you.
B) I not that high nor do I know the cost of this yet I know why system is in place. what's the point of playing a game if you have all the best gear in a week the no challenge to keep you coming back no reason for you to progress forward.
C) now the Gear I do agree with .. Only reason I could see the system set as it is now would be not ment really for you but ment to craft for some one else witht he extras you get so you could sell if some one was trying to gear up quickly only thing I can think of here. so I do think this needs to be looked into -

There are issues of course but the fact that you call yourself selfish really makes it clear that even you know you are being overly critical. Do all of these things needs work, oh hell yea, it's like you went through a list of the most heated debates on the forums and posted them in 1 topic right? This is disingenuous and I'm sure the reason for some level of self loathing because, if we were to take a look at the features of this game that were superior to other titles we would have a lists at least equally as long.
So, to be fair, all of the things you mention really do need to be addressed butto make any claims about actions or loss of trust is frankly dumbfounding. -

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad your willing to admit it's possible SE could muck something up. That's real progress. I feel like we're getting somewhere. That said, you still didn't even remotely understand it, but at least you didn't interpret it through rose-tinted glasses. What's he's saying, is that the quality of the gear, versus mats required, compared to how easy it is to farm AK and CM; Is not appropriate. No one will buy crafted Lv50 gear, because the AK and Tome gear is so easy to acquire. At the moment, the only reason people WOULD buy it, is because they're so tired of the hour+ AK queue just to get that gear, that they'll buy it in a fit of nerd-rage. I agree with the tokens. I don't see why garuda only drops 7. Should be 15 and 20-25 philo. Would make it an alternative for people who are sick of AK. We need more options. It's a shame really that so little thought was given to how endgame would be with just one dungeon(AK) to farm over and over and over for the gear everyone needs.

2.1 brings likely 2 hard mode remakes of leveling dungeons which one will likely be ilv70 content (you know as darklight will likely become supplement to the drops from the ilv50-70 content) and the tower which is ilv80 gear and more mythos to help supplement gear.
Just because it is the primary thing you can do right now, does not mean that it is the full plan, game just came out. More is coming and the devs primary plan on gear progression will become more clear.
And lastly why does everyone want full ilv90 gear NOW so that the tower is a TOTAL JOKE when you out gear it by 20ilvs at release? -

Auto DL Gear no no some of use already had DL Gear from playing V1, I forgot the big ass warnings SE Gave saying there would be nothing for 1.0 players to do other than be frustrated with queues and level ACN, forgive I missed that memo.

Part of the problem is as follows: they have a fixed number of instance servers for all dungeons, but due to the tomestones a large number of end gamers are running a handful of dungeons all at the same time, putting undue stress on the instances. This is akin to a 1017 or queue issue on login, except it is taking longer because of how long a dungeon run can take. You are waiting for other people to finish. This is further made significantly worse because of the weekly cap resetting at the same time, so everyone who does this, tends to do it during the same period of time.
If you have ever dealt with websites and/or database servers this is a familiar problem, akin to the "slashdot" effect. You have a system that can normally handle daily distributed load, but in a spike like this, you run into an issue where the system cannot handle all request simultaneously, so things begin to time out, simply because your load is suddenly get what you normally see distributed throughout the day, happening all in a matter of minutes.
The correct solution is to attempt to increase capacity, and attempt to distribute load. If these servers for example are segmented by dungeon, then you would want more servers allocated towards these specific dungeons than other dungeons that are run much less frequently.
Also I did provide another suggestion to this problem over in Feedback & Suggestion forum already, but basically, another solution to help prevent this spike, is to distribute reset day throughout the week, so that different worlds gets a different reset day. This means that the spike is going on average, be 1/7th of the time. Which combined with server upgrades should solve the problem.
That said, they have already announced they are working on the instance servers to help with this problem. So I am hopeful. From a technical side I completely understand what is going on and why, and can also understand why they didn't anticipate it (but probably should have). -

so the main thing i gather from this is OP is raging about queue instance reservation times. All I know is SE is aware that (mostly on monday) demand for certain dungeons exceeds the number of available instances and they are going to be expanding the DF servers this month (they said middle, so 2nd or 3rd week).
Until that time passes, I will not complain about it because I trust that they will solve the problem by the time they have given. Besides that, i only ever see this issue one day a week (on Monday immediately following the tomestone reset). -

Its not a new game, it is an expansion whichever way you want to look at it, otherwise they'd have ditched 1.0 and restarted everyone. Let alone wouldn't use the whole 2.~ Digits for patches etc
Also to call me deluded and yet claim the entire game was reworked...no the Engine was sure, but Big example would be Garuda, Hi copy and paste with a slight photoshop tweak to make it look original work. Thing is they also claimed to rebuild the engine and servers to fix the lag problems...thats why I'd be bringing in Titan as an example...New Servers, People still get hit after moving? Even when pre-emptively moving after knowing patterns. Thats ok tho right? Cuz the game is new we are allowed to be lied to about problems they said was the reason for a rebuild only for said problems to be more apparent in 2.0?! Awesome.
I'm glad you enjoy being lied to, Bait&Switched on and everything else SE has done. Don't get me wrong the game is fun and enjoyable, it just has issues that sadly they don't like to address and idiots like you climb so far into their rectum you're digesting lunch for them at the same time. -

So you could spend less on DL, Enter Coil and upgrade DL (with luck on drops) to Allagan right? Even if you do go down the Vanya route, you still have to be lucky with Forbidden Melds too!
(You need 3375 Philo to just buy the mats for Trousers if you go for a crafted piece...3375 for one item? Thats only iL70)
I'm not asking for Melds or the effort in crafting to change, however the mat cost/amount needed per item is a little on the crazy side!
