Ramuh, Leviathan, bahamut ..... can you even fight them?

are they even available to fight in the game? i just done Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak and saved that elder slyph, thinking she was gonna send me into fight Ramuh, but nooooooooooooooooooooo. Said Ramuh is good and just handed me his crystal over. Such a downer that turned out to be.

Leviathan is mentioned but it doesnt feel like the story is going back to focus on the Sahagin, and then there is bahamut, i know of the place called spiral of bahamut but i think you don't fight him....

Can anyone confirm that you can fight these 3? It was a real disappointment that the primal roster was so little to begin with but now it feels very rushed that 3 of those listed, i think you cant even fight in trials or boss fights.

You can't.
But they will become avaiable in later expansions, though.

Don't expect Bahamut to be avaiable for a good six or seven expansions though, at least in my opinion.

i thought all that are listed would be available in vanilla and in expansions they would add other ones that arnt listed (e.g. Shiva, Phoenix, Ragnarok, Kirin, Diabolos and so on and so on, too many lol)

Bahamut (and then end of the Binding Coil) is supposed to be in Patch 2.1.

As for Leviathan and Ramuh, I think they are planned for 2.1 as well.

2.1 is planned for November release.

Leviathan was originally planned to be a Primal battle in version 1.0, but was dummied out along with Titan, because of the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Square Enix considered it to be in very poor taste to feature summons in the game which cause earthquakes and tsunamis so soon after the disaster, and hence their battles were never available in the game, although their models were in the client's code.

That's no longer considered an issue though, so expect Leviathan in ARR eventually along with Ramuh (a teaser of Ramuh's battle music was released a while ago by SE as a sneak peak about what to expect).

Shiva should be around sometime since they already made her concept art.

I think Leviathan would be next since there's already a level 49 areas with Sahagin mobs in Eastern La Noscea and we all know Leviathan is one of the threats for Limsa Lominsa alongside Titan.

I believe those mentioned like leviathan, shiva and ramuh will be in. Only not so sure when.

I think someone mentioned abt gilgamesh as well. I am definitely rooting for Knights of the round vs 13 knights at 1 go :) lol....(just dreaming)

Expect it to be like this:

Leviathan > Ramuh > Shiva.
HM Leviathan > HM Shiva > HM Ramuh

Lore-wise, we already have Leviathan and Ramuh as well as their respective beastmen: the Sahagin and Sylph. Shiva, however, is still unrepresented, but she'll likely be the Primal of the Mamool'Ja, being a contrast to the Amaal'ja's Ifrit primal. Fire and Ice.

Ramuh is most likely to be the first new primal since he's already got an in-game model you get to see during the main story and had music already that they previewed at an event.

IDK about that, Would make more sense if Shiva was represented by something living in Coerthas, considering Square has always had her associated with Ice(and there's not really any ice on a subtropical island). Just saying would make more sense.

Ragnarok was an esper in FFVI, which turns into the Metamorph summon (turns enemies into items).

Shiva is likely the primal of the Gigas. they wear wintery looking clothes and Mor Dhona has what is likely her Aetheryte.

By the way, ODIN is a lv50 Fate. Found it on Grindania forests near Sylph camp.

He wanders across the entire Black Shroud. If its a Shroud area, then Odin can spawn in it.

The storyline does give subtle hints about the other primals. :)

i remember seeing a post somewhere of a screenshot of what looked like a big crystal in the water off a pier, one of the players postsed saying it might be for a unreleased primal battle against leviathan

at least they are coming in patches/updates and not add ons/expansions or at least that what it seems like

Shiva was the primal of the gigas I believe.
