Delays and what not

My Rig:
GPU: Geforce GTX 660
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)i7 CPU 950@3.07 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
OS: Windows 7
Internet Connection: 24mb/s

I've just finished Garuda HM - the people inside there were delayed in everything they did. Sometimes they stood there for 2 seconds and then suddendly they start moving again. It's tiny little delays, wich sometimes cause a wipe for me.
I don't know if it is my Computer, my Internet seems to be fine as I can play other bloody games just fine. I've got around 60-120 FPS depending where I'm. At Chimera it is 120, at Garuda it is 70ish - playing on Standard pre-settings.

I really do not know what to do, it's getting completly annoying and I can't imagine myself playing the game if this keeps ongoin as I would be a complete waste of time to anyone I do raids/dungeons with.

I'd appreciate a reply very much, I'm open to any sugguestion!

When i had this problem in everquest 1, it was my live time antivirus. It made the game litteraly stop and go. Was annoying until some update (either the game, anti virus, or pc) got rid of it.

I've just turned it off and just qued for Garuda HM again - hopefully I'll see a difference. Will edit this post to keep you updated if it changed anything.
If anyone else has got any ideas/suggestion please drop them, thanks in advance.

Turns out that it was not my Antivirus.
During the Garuda encounter I've had 140 FPS - I had no effects on of anyone, nothing at all.
I kept lagging like I was walking on glue though. People were standing - walking - standing - walking.
Horrible, this destroys everything for me :/

Maybe this is happening to you too? Its killing the game for a lot of people from what im seeing, myself included. Been days since ive been able to actually play.

Has any SE employee been informed about this? Any notices? Anything?!
I really don't like bitching as I like the game, but christ - this is a massive dealbreaker.

I just did that Benchmark programm - thing - whatever you want to call it, the one that gives you a score on how good your PC is - everything on Maximum for me achieves a 20k score. So according to that I should have no problems at all.
I doubt it HIGHLY its my internet. So what is causing this...what exactly is causing it? ._.

Having the same trouble in both Binding Coil and Titan. Ridiculous, cannot believe that it's still running this badly. Love the game, but this lag is going to kill it before the month is out.

My laptop scored an embarasingly 700ish :P its not easy to play with such a low score. As a test, out of curriosity i ran the benchmark on my mom's laptop. She scored a 1800ish. Envy. Didn't try the game on hers tho. Anyways, you can imagine my lag on my game with my laptop :) I litteraly walk thru glue and a snowstorm up a hill both ways but that's my own fault at least.

I know what you're going through disability wise. Titan? Me? Avoid an ae? Not happening. By the time i see the red beam on the ground, i have .5 secs to move and ya right like i can dodge in that amount of time, not. /bad laptop!

But that seems more like an hardware issue - something I do not have ._.
I hope SE reads this and replies to it - it would be so appreciated if I atleast knew the noticed and will work on it.
It does not seem to be my hardware - nor internet. So I assume it's from the servers side, maybe?

I was just stating i know the harsh difficulties your facing, even tho from different circumstances.

My experience from the stop and go game stuttering was from my antivirus in live protection mode with one particular game. Was hoping perhapse that may have been your issue but it seems not so. Another way to test if its your end, is to do a selective start up to find anything related to the cause. Annoying to do and i dont like doing that while connected to the internet. Does your benchmark stutter too by chance? Or the cinematic cutscenes?

No, my benchmark doesn't stutter at all.
The cinematic cutscenes are as smooth as butter.
I just killed Titan, all my settings were on the lowest possible, all my effects turned off.
My internet connection was steady 24.2/MBs, my hardware has not got any problems. (My ISP does NOT throttle, I've called multiple times during lagging in the game making sure it's not my ISP - and its not.)
Those delays are kind of annoying and very game breaking. As you can see above my RIG is pretty decent, more than enough to play the game fluently.

What do you mean with starting a selective start up and finding what's the cause - mind taking me through it?

A little update on what I've tried so far:

- Disabeling my Norting Antivirus completly.
- Playing on the lowest graphics possible. Still had delays during Titan/Garuda - Just like I'd run on Maximum grpahics
- Calling my ISP asking about throtteling - negative reply. I've got a steady 24MBs connection.
- Only launched FF:XIV without running any other programms in the background.
- Disabled my Firewall to see if that could be the cause.
- Checked if my RIG meets the requierements: It's completly fine.
- Ran Benchmark Tests with the resulsts being: Standard 25458 Rating | High 22831 Rating | Maximum 20745 Rating

I'm starting to think that the problem ain't from my side, but from the servers that SE has.

I will put more information regarding this into here, seeing as SE doesn't give a f..fluffy marshmellow about this, all I can do is provide more info and pray someone will read it and maybe a reply will help me sorting this out. Who knows, world might end and even an SE mod or something answers and says "Hey, we've seen the threads, we're on it."

As of today new methods tried out to run the game properly:
- Used my fathers work PC to play the game (Worth around 4 times mine PC wich was around 3k, he is a 3D animateur) - Same problems. Delays on bloody Garuda HM and Titan HM
- Called my ISP - Telekom, for the FOURTH time this week, making sure they do NOT throttle, they don't.
- Tried various graphic changes ingame aswell as out of the game on my GPU
- Re-Installed the game
- Used a little PING enhancer - didn't do shit all. Guide to it was splendid though, helped on other games too.
- I'm out of ideas on what to do..
