There is only one big thing they missed, which is they should nerf FATE exp grinding. They should Double FATE CD time or triple it. I can feel they will do it soon.

Why would you want to play a grind-fest game.
They'll nerf FATE in some way sooner or later, i'm sure of it.
nobody will EVER want to lvl a second class after blowing all the quests on their main...good luck with that whole thing you got goin on though....
A FATE is only good if you have people around to do them with.
In low levels at this point, good luck trying to find the help to do FATEs. But yes, I do feel like they pop up a little too often.
When I think of FATEs in FFXIV I think of some event that needs to be done. These event come like every 10 mins ( which I feel they should come like every 1hour.) If the time was adjusted to 1 hour per FATE, then the exp really doesn't need to change.
No way to finish all quest. Leve from 1.0 called dynamic quest with daily changed reward. later on advanced job will require you get two more job to acquire. Believe or not they will nerf it to make low level instance more useful. I will say nerf it early will cause less cry than later
Fates are incredibly fun imo.
Without Fates and the main story it boils down to mob grinding and leve spam which is the same bloody thing as Fate grinding.
Don't like the XP fates give? Don't run them, it is that simple.
Some of us don't enjoy spending 4 days to get 1 level.
Well, currently the primary way to level is via grinding FATEs, correct? Maybe if they were nerfed, I (and others) would be more drawn to doing Levequests, seeking out side missions, running dungeons, etc. - basically anything that actually requires skill and not just running from place to place spamming a few AoEs or DoTs for hours on end.
The solution isn't to nerf FATE exp or timer, it is to improve Leve rewards and Dungeons exp/rewards. You don't nerf it directly by damaging it, you nerf it indirectly by improving other methods to compete with it.
Combine that improvement with rested exp and the bonus you get from a higher job already, dungeons could be a very competitive alternative source to FATE grinding.
They never, never, never, ever got this right in FFXI.
I personally dislike FATE grinding, I miss the more social/teamwork aspect of dungeons.
Wait....so since there aren't any other viable forms of EXP Grinding you want to nerf the only viable one?
Explain this logic please.
