Hey everyone , i open my launcher 20min ago and what do i see ? A network maintenance ?! I was so happy thinking they were fixing their server and everything so i log in , head outside the town and i notice my Titan-Egi is not moving... Lag spikes once again ! And then guess what ? Error 90000.
They keep doing maintenance for log in server , they tell us they are doing network maintenance fixing we don;t know what but they still don;t fix our massive lag spikes / disconnection that come from the server we connect to when entering the game. What's wrong with SE these days seriously ? It's been 4 days and no fix or news about this issue.
I am starting to get more and more mad at the situation now and i am seriously doubting i will sub to this wonderful game only because they have probably the worst support i've seen in years. It's not like it was a problem for only a handful of people. The forum is filled with this issue , hell other players even found out the cause of the problem and yet we have to hear from SE for a fix , at this point give the players an access like a Dev so they can fix the game themselves since we already know the cause of all this.
I am VERY disappointed with SE right now.

I played yesterday the whole evening without ANY errors whatsoever.
¤ Patching was successful
¤ Patching speed was great (3.5MB/s)
¤ The game started normally without any errors
¤ Could access Odin without having to stand in queue and go no 1017 error
¤ I never got disconnected (90k) or had "receive 0" or anything else like that.
¤ FPS was normal
Did I win the lottery? :p -

Please understand that not all errors are with the servers or with SE.
Other people have reported the same disconnect/lag issues and the root cause for some is their ISP.
What they have fixed are issues that caused the same error code, but had different causes behind it.
What ISP are you on to begin with? -

It's not my ISP it's the server SE put you on when you log in the game , this is the cause and it's true because if i use a crappy VPN from around the world i do not get these spikes/disconnection anymore , my ISP never throttle the network for any reason i called them and on top of that you are stupid if you think this isn't on SE end with the dozens of errors everyone is having at the moment , it is on their end it;s been proved and some guy found the cause of it before SE even posted a news about the issue or a fix.

The servers will never improve. So its all up to make the most cash with this layout and you can do this filtering ip's. You let in people from region you expect most income and the rest can quit the game because they already have plenty of players.
You can play fine from Euro zone to Japan serevrs with no lag but there is a lot of lag/disconnect from Euro to NA/Euro servers. You can figure out who will get them more cash.... -

O.o It improved traffic?
I finally made a character on Gilgamesh where I can be with my friends finally and I had no problems logging in even at peak hours. I do get 9000 or 3012 sometimes but I just log back in, it's all good. -

Its middle of the night on NA and afternoon across Europe so this is the timezone will fewest players possible and you still get lag/disconnect. Imagine what will be in afternoon when NA wakes up and Euro comes home from work.
Its easy to reserve bandwitch per class of IP's so you dont need to block IP on connect. -

Everything works fine for me. From my ps3 to laptop to main pc. No major issues. So I don't think its all SE.

You guys are right , it's not SE , the thousands of people having this issue are just plain stupid. I wish i could be smart like you guys but instead i am talking about game server and log in server where i tested that a VPN from another place in the world fix the issue because it change your game server but hey i don;t know what i am talking about and SE is perfect , they are not dealing with tons of error right now you are right.
And i thought SE was having servers problems , how stupid am i. -

Ill repeat once again , depending on your location in the world when you first log in into the game a game server is assigned to you , that server of course have an IP address and thats where the problem is , some of those server are not working correclty , using a VPN from the the USA while i live in Canada reset my assigned game server because the game want to optimize my connection , by changing the game server it fix your lag/disconnect ( error 90000) problem. Why am i not telling you my ISP ? Because there's no point in telling you because it's not my ISP , there's people from Japan , Europe , Malesia , Canada , USA all experiencing this issue with all different ISP while some people from let's say RCN have this issue some just don;t because they don;t connect to the same game server. You have to think from their point of view. What would you do if you have to many customers for your wares. You cant tell them you dont have enough because it will burn your shop, so you let all stay on front door till they'll get bored and go away and open the back door for customer who you know will pay better.
Its the same with this game, they'll wait till free month goes away, most of players will leave because they cant play the game, some will stay and server will start to manage the players. Company sold loads of copies but didnt spend money with servers so they're on profit. -

I played most of the day yesterday and I had no problem most of the day using duty finder and getting in world. Around 10:30 pm EST, I started getting into duty's with just 2 out of 4 party members in it. Then leaving it, i'd get the 90k error, then 1012 error trying to log back in. Once i got back in, tried until 11:30, no result. Same errors.

The problem is our ISP's. Here's the proof.
We all played lag free since beta, couple days ago, all our ISP's gang up on us and decided to make everyone lag. They got the list from Santa, we been bad this year.
BTW, don't even try explaining how the network works, they don't understand or care. Its all about them. They are the first ones jumping on the forums making threads when they can't log for 10 mins. Its pathetic.
You have to love those jokers that thinks it can't be on SE end, since they have no issues. They couldn't care less about us as long they have their candy. -

Nope. Still getting 90k. It's not my ISP. My sister sits practically right across from me playing FF with no disconnects whatsoever, and I get them all the time.
