I have decided to add this official pole based on the idea below.

-> If you agree with the ability to have two options for the lower body's shape.

One option to suit a busty body shape and the exact current 2.0 lower body shape as two optional choices.

- Added to Character creation screen as additional body option.

The idea is that we still keep the breast slider, just not a but slider because the but slider got turned down.

Two simple choices for the lower body is better than having an extremely flat option as the only lower body in the game...

With two lower body choices and the breast slider still in place you could make a character with a larger lower body and smaller upper.
The combination is still yours to make.

This is as a compromise with SE instead of the but sliders that were asked for in beta phase.

When SE puts those character creation potions up for sale and you can buy them with real money, more customization options is exactly what will get people buying those potions.
SE could and would also benefit from this.

Yes this would apply for all race choices and genders, instead of a but slider 2 lower body types is all we need really.

Option 4. I don't get why this bothers you so much. You say it ruins your immersion? Then go immerse yourself into countless other games with all the badonkadonk you could want. Then come back and enjoy FF for it's intended purpose, pretty fantasy world and awesome story.

P.S. I'll let you know when I zoom in on my Manqo'te's butt to see how beautiful it is. When I'm done slaying all the dragons in the game.

P.P.S. In respect anyways to your point of view. A thread like this probably won't change things any time soon. Not even considering current bugs and issues, they already have an extremely long list of content to code and get through. It isn't as easy as plugging old models into the client. They rebuilt this game from the ground up and redesigning butt physics requires doubling the character files rendered in game considering how every piece of armor will look different as well.

I just liked the 1.0 body and would like the option to choose it, it's a good idea is it not. There are others who agree, if you don't agree make your vote or don't post at all I don't care. lol

Asriah, people should have the choice to choose there personal preference when making there character.

Yes it's a fantasy world, and in this fantasy world I want my character to look good and not weird.

They agree because they don't see anything wrong with it. Do you see anyone else starting threads about this? All three(that I know of) have been from you. You can't just assume mass indifference equates to a mob with pitchforks.

Well, the problem is that SE has now designed ARR's client to draw from Packed files. Which means in order to dat mod you'd have to unpack the file first and then repack it after you finish. While this is technically still possible it's a lot more complicated. I do trust the FF modding community to come up with a program to do this, but not anytime soon.

Also directly changing character dimensions is a whole different ball game. You'd have to expect someone who isn't part of SE to add the old models, and edit all the equipment to match it.

3 that you know of? There is one here and this is a part of it, this pole seemed like a good idea and it wasn't my idea someone else suggested it because they wanted me to add it.

Are you against more character customization? You seem to be against more character customization, is it really such a big fucking deal to have two options? Your argument is a fallacy regardless, 'appeal to ignorance'.

On topic, I want a slider, not body type options. SE has proved that they're competent in regards to character customization and a good range for slider values. No one is asking for a huge rapper butt or anything, but more than flat would be appreciated.

Two simple options is not much to ask for, it's asking for a lot less than a slider.

a slim option for those who like the slimness

and a less slim more shaped figure for those who dislike the intense flatness.

Option 4 is a vote for trolls and there vote doesn't count towards the official vote off.

Is this post meant to be ironic? To the people against this, it is not a big deal. It is such a trivial thing that it is not even worth the time and effort. To the people for it, however, it really is a 'big deal', to the degree that someone like Vandark has a seriously unhealthy obsession over it.

I didnt even notice a "big" difference in the b4 and after picks, sure the 1.0 butts have a little bit more shape big whoop. Why dont we work on getting past the problems at hand before we start bringing up other needless crap

Loads of games have multiple body choices, this game doesn't I think it should.

For the record it may be trivial to you but to some it's the difference between being happy with there character and not.

Personally, I am against the idea because I believe there are far too many other things I would rather the dev team (every single section of them) do first for this to ever be something I want them to divert resources to.

But the OP here isn't presenting it as overwhelmingly one-sidedly as the last thread.

The fact that people are upset over this is really dumb, ether you want the two options in character creation or you don't. It's that simple. lol

If SE are adding the ability to buy character changing potions I don't see this as anything less than profit for them and extra character options for us.

I seriously doubt it would take a huge amount of resources to add something that they (the dev team) can easily do. I completely agree that the character visuals in 1.0 were much better than what we have now, among several other things that I feel got downgraded overall. I'm for a slider personally.

Why does it bother people so much that someone wants more character customization? Main point I'm seeing: Bigger problems at hand. Sure, but why not introduce the idea and then if time permits, allow it instead of downright shutting any suggestion for more customization?

Only SE knows how to go about adding a new body shape and how that choice would effect the game, leave it up to them to decide if it's a bad idea or not and leave it up to popularity to decide weather or not people want it.

If anything I'd prefer a slider over a second body type. Don't care much either way since I wont be using it though.

I vote option 4. It would take senseless reworking of armor and animation files for a cosmetic change only some people want to obsess over, that would then have to be included with other races. This isn't even an anatomy issue, as miqote are not human.

You voiced your concerns in Beta Forum, they have kept the original design. Let it go, because all these screenshots only serve to make you look creepy and perverted.

This will never happen and making a "poll" will change nothing.

They already have to make 8-10 different models for each piece of armor (one for each race/gender combination, dunno if miqo'te and midlander use the same body models though they look the same to me), you're basically asking that they double this.

So if they DO allow you to choose the 1.0 models, that means they have to make 16 models for each new armor design they release. This means we will see fewer unique armor designs because they have to spend so much more time on each one.

The screenshots show a clear miss match on busty characters, it's an initial problem, there is nothing creepy or perverted about wanting a normal looking character.
You know plenty of games have multiple body options, it's not uncommon at all.

You exaggerate the amount of work saying it's alot more time spent, it's really only a little bit more time spent.
Once the orrigonal new armor is made the second would only require a small adjustment then boom 2nd peace done.
For an average Joe it's a huge job, for a company like SE with a huge staff it's not as hard as your claiming it is.

If every size needs a different peace of armor to match it, then what your saying would mean there are extreme amounts for the slider in the upper body correct? If thats true then the lower body having only two VS the upper body having how many different possible shapes.. it's got to be easier than what they did to make all those breast sizes.

We are talking about adding one extra body shape to match busty characters for each race, thats a very little amount to ask for when compared to what people asked for in beta.

I might support such an idea if it meant that my male Roegadyn got to have to muscular butt he deserves (and maybe an actual chest instead of some shading), but if it's just so guys playing cat girls can ogle their characters, well, no. It'd have to be a full customization revamp for every race and gender, not a super female sexpot feature.

Yeah, I was thinking two optional body types for each race and gender not just female characters, coz alot of players like yourself would like a larger looking guy character so it's only fair it should be for both genders as well.

These females are seriously lacking booty, the men could have a larger appearance also described as you say, a more muscular looking lower body perhaps.

Thing about 'body choices' is that that's what we had in 1.0 and clearly noone liked it as that system was scrapped entirely and replaced with a plethora of sliders. Thankfully, it wasn't to the same degree as PSO2... Body choices would be too much of a step back, I think. Honestly, a slider would be fine, even if the slider wasn't quite as broad as the bust slider. My only want is that it be a unisex slider. A man with something to grab is all I ask!
